I like this eyebrow pencil. Easy to apply and smooth. Not chalky and simple coverage for thinning eyebrow.

Nothing much to say really. I needed an eyebrow pencil and have always used Maybelline medium brown. It has been modernized with a finer point as well as a small brush. After several uses I would buy it again.

I don't wear makeup, I just have never been a makeup wearer, chapstick and lotion is my go to. However, I do love to do my brows and this is the BEST pencil out there. I have tried so many, and they don't blend correctly. There is something about this pencil that makes your brows look beyond natural. The key to this pencil is to keep it stored in a cooler place and to sharpen just a tiny bit right before use. If the pencil is too hot, it will go on too thick. I keep it in a drawer in my master bath. Yes, they do dwindle down quickly, but this pencil will make your brows look amazing. I have tried so many and I can't stand them. This is the ONLY one I use.

I’ve used this product for about five years now, and I’ve had little issues with it. I have extremely thin, hardly visible eyebrows so I have to paint them on each time I go out, and one pencil will last me around four months with near daily use. It’s soft, so you need to be careful not to press too hard and use gentle strokes or you’ll end up with an uneven coating. It stays on with sweat and swimming! When I’ve exited the pool hours after splashing my face and diving underwater, it was still there, along with the long, hot days at work. (Note that I’ve never swam underwater for too long, so can’t assure you it will last extended periods of time with water exposure.) A few issues I have with this pencil is that it easily smudges, and on the rare occasion when you’re applying it will come off in tiny pieces that leave dark, thick smudges if you apply over them. Also, the brush end of the pencil does not work well with any moisture, so it needs to be allowed to dry between cleanings. Make sure your eyebrows are dry from sweat if you will be using the brush end (the pencil applies fine with minimal sweat). I don’t use other makeup, not sure if that would affect anything.

This has been my go-to product since the Revlon Colorstay brand took away the dark blackish brown shade. This pencil is waxy and creamy and a bit soft so be gentle (as you've probably noticed others have mentioned). As a tip, to make it last longer, pop it in a cool place OR in the fridge (along with my Noxzema) so it's firm and the perfect consistency when you use it. Trust me, it'll save you on those warm summer mornings when you're putting on your face. Perfect shade, very natural. Please, Maybelline, do NOT discontinue this product or shade. Only thing that sucks, as with most pencils, is when it gets so short it's hard to sharpen. Then you're just kinda outta luck. Ahh, beauty problems - we've all got 'em right? LOL!

The soft brown color is too dark, more like medium brown. Wish they would go back to having light brown.

Don't bother ordering this, worse eyebrow pencil. It's so soft, it goes on thick, this is not soft brown, it's dark brown. Amazon will not accept returning it, you have to contact Maybelline directly. Surprisingly, I can recommend Maybelline's Expert Wear Eyebrow pencil, I've been wearing it for years, actually decades. The light brown is getting increasingly difficult to find so I thought I would try this since it's from Maybelline, I ended up tossing it in the trash.

This would without a doubt be one of the best eyebrow pencil/brush combinations I have used. It matches my skin colour perfectly. I Sadly haven't been able to find it again, but absolutely loved it. If you can get it, grab some. I would highly recommend it.
