A "Smart" Buy
For the longest time (no pun intended, lolz) I had my heart set on purchasing a smartwatch for my next timepiece. Then I began to consider how "slow" my new Urbane or Moto 360 would be after only a year or two. I mean, why spend $250 on a watch if after a year or two it will struggle to connect to my phone, read me GPS directions or make phone calls? Probably the only thing it will do once it goes "obsolete" is tell the time. Even then, the so called "smart" watch will probably be a millisecond or two late. In order to avoid this scenario. I decided to purchase a 5-figure gold watch that will tell the time nearly as well as my Moto, but will never need to be charged. Well, not more than once every few years. Downside? Doesn't let me pretend to be Dick Tracy.

Superb
I was looking online for a battery for my casio watch and stumbled across this beauty. I was running late, because my casio was dead, so i figured i would pump all my savings into this and thereby save time while saving at the same time. I have no regrets. it fits well, and tells the time. just what i wanted in a watch.

All about the LOOK
Whilst trash-picking one day, in one of the poorer sections of Palm Beach, I found the Calavatra that "Daniel" mentions in his review here. Then again, maybe somebody else trashed the one I found. Now the truth is that I noticed it because I was *wearing* the very same watch, bought near Little Italy in Manhattan, years ago.Now I'll admit mine came a little cheaper, about 2 ten thousands the cost of this one; but then Swiss Quartz movements -though more accurate than their Mechanical movements- are a little cheaper.Comparing the two, I'd say the alligator band of the $25k watch was nicer, but the workmanship and color choices on the face of my NYC special are better, and it doesn't need winding. That's why I'm giving this $25k machine only Four Stars.

It tells the time really well.
I like to use quality time pieces at one time diving watches. This watch fit the bill as my family trust fund wasn't maxed out this week after buying a fairly cheap chalet in the swiss alps, anyway back to the watch. Its okay, I mean it just has that little knob to adjust the time but no diving bezel and it also tells the time. Now its just a fairly cheap paper weight that I threw in the trash last week. I am looking forward to buying my next Patek next week.

nice time piece I can't wait until I will be ...
nice time piece I can't wait until I will be able to tell time with Arabic numerals. I think that is what they are called. Just because I am rich does not make me smart any way the watch is nice to wear I gave the rolex away.
