You could work off a ladder, but it would depend on how far you'll have to reach. Also, remember that when you hook up a hose to the scrubber brush, it will make it more awkward. A hose full of water is heavy.

doe it come with a bucket?

The mr. Long arm 1009 pro come with items shown in the picture. The bucket is not that expensive
