Point 65 N Tequila! GTX Tandem Angler Modular Kayak

I got this because it comes apart and the description says, "fits in the back of most cars".It barely fit in my minivan with the middle seats pushed forward and the back ones down. There is no way this would fit in most cars.The pieces are awkward to carry, there are no good way to grab the pieces and carry them. Maybe purchase a few kayak straps to carry them. The middle piece is fairly heavy.For the positives, this kayak glides on the water, it tracks very nicely. It was odd with my 7 year old paddling but when it was just me, it moved great. I had 3 of us in it, with my 4 year old sitting facing me in the middle part. I started back to the launch because in our other kayaks it took a while to get back. This kayak moved so nicely, I wasn't tired and we we're able to fish for awhile longer. Each person could have multiple poles if they wanted. It is so nice to have your pole out of the way in the holder and not awkwardly placed flat by your feet.Can't wait to go out again, after I get some carrying straps!

Worked as advertised: its easy to toss in the back of the SUV, carry the sections from the car down to the water, hook it together and hit the water, solo or tandem. Love it! Great for our little fishin' hole. I like that there's no roof rack and hoisting to fool with and no need to carry more kayak than I need when going solo. Next step is to rig the fishing gear up.The pressure bulbs for the seat cushions did slip off easily as another user mentioned.I just snugged them down with a couple of small zip ties. That seemed to secure them.

This is a really neat kayak. Haven't put in the tandem seat yet, but have been fishing in kayak in solo configuration. I was impressed right away with the way the modules "ratchet" together. Plenty of rod holders. Overall I am pleased so far with this kayak. Very easy to take apart for transport and put back together.

Purchased this kayak thru Outdoorplay. Ordered on a Sunday afternoon and received delivery following Thursday.Kayak works well for its intended purpose - obviously not for white water activities. Instructions are lousy - had to read promo blurb twice before I discovered that it came with drainage plugs.Had one problem, air seats have a pump bulb that was very loosely attached. Lost one first time out.Called Outdoorplay planning to purchase another bulb - firm shipped one free even though it was our fault that we lost original.Great company - excellent customer service.If you purchase this unit, recommend you use a cable tie on the air bulbs.Colors are muted - not as bright as shown.

We have had this kayak out in both Lake and Bay and I handled fine in both situations. It is easy to assemble but we have learned that it is very helpful to put it together on level ground or in shallow water.We live in a Condo so space is very limited, and this Kayak fits in an elevator! It also fits in the bed of our truck so we can transport Kayak in the bed and Bikes on the rack in the back hitch.
