Knee pads are great, sizing chart is off.
Tried a total of 5 different types of knee pads, and these are my favorite fit. Very well padded and knocks Triple 8 out of the water in terms of protection, but they are a lot bulkier. It hasn’t negatively impacted my skating but if you want something actually slim, I’d stick with the Triple 8 brand.Be aware that the sizing chart is not great. I had to go with the measurements for above my knee and at the start of my thigh because my thighs were too large to fit comfortably otherwise. I don’t believe I’m the only one to report this issue either.

Super thick, durable knee pads!
My son uses these knee pads for his electric scooter this is what he says:, the scooter goes up to 25mph so I needed more than just a bicycle helmet. They are harder to walk in than plastic knee & shin style guards but they have way more protection. The 187 are comfortable when riding it is only walking around do they feel weird but you don't buy these to go for a jog in you buy them as protection for skateboarding, BMXing, or riding an electric OneWheel, electric scooter, eboard, etc. They are comfortable when riding and have way more protection than cheaper ones. I paid $46 with tax it was like $49. I highly recommend them but I'd also recommend hunting for a deal to try to try and get them $10-20 cheaper than the retail of 64.95. Safety equipment isn't something you want to get some cheap off brand stuff and get injured as a result of low quality gear. These are worth buying and if you don't get these at least get some other reputable brand quality pad not some junk!

Glad these weren't my knees
Without comparing to the pro models, they do more than enough when it comes to saving you from impacts. It takes a few sessions to break it in, but like shoes, it should be very comfortable and fit you quite well.Despite being called slim knee, they can feel a tad bit bulky. That doesnt seem to be problem as you can still move around without any problems.I'd say it's money well spent and would consider getting the pro models should the need arise.

The Only Comfortable Knee Pads Out of 7 Pairs I Bought
I gave these 5 stars because they were The Only Comfortable Knee Pads Out of 7 Pairs I Bought. Somehow all knee pads either cut your shins at the bottom or think your thighs are sticks. I'm not fat, but I do have thighs, and these were the only pads that fit comfortably around my thighs and over my knees. They also have a knee pad inside that conforms to the bend of the knee. They also have a full neoprene back - not like those pads with only velcro straps. I don't know how all these other companies stay in business with their ill fitting knee pads. These are definitely worth the extra bucks.

Excellent Pads
I was kind of worried when I saw how blocky these were. I am a street skater. I used these for the first time yesterday and was really pleased with how comfortable they are. I skated 15 miles and was totally unaware of the pads. The construction, which cups the knee cap instead of pressing on it works very well. I feel that these pads are secure and will provide great protection.

Great Cushiony Protection
When I tried them on I purposely fell to knees and felt no pain or even discomfort! The slim knee pads are far more comfortable than the other model I accidentally purchased first. These are not slim for what most people think of as slim, but are slim in comparison to their other model. They are comfortable, cushy, and are super nice quality, so if you want good protection grab a pair.

Not worth the money - 3x knee injury in 13 months
After reading all the other reviews, I’m wondering if I got a faulty pair of knee pads.I’ve worn used these under 50 times in the year that I’ve had them. As of last night I’m on my THIRD knee injury since switching to this brand. I’ve had two other brands of knee pads since starting derby in 2018, and neither of those pair have left me with a single knee injury, and definitely not to this extent.Add to that, barely a year old, used under 50 times, and now there is a crack through the plastic… which is exceptionally odd since the placement of the crack is not somewhere I ever hit my knee during falls.Definitely NOT worth the ridiculous amount I spent on these for them to be so crappy.
