Great for Games and Training
These have proven to be exciting and tasty treats for training. They are easy to take out of your bait bag with their small round kibble like structure. The roundness also allows for easy release from your closed palm when dispensing for rapid and high praise feedback. I have found them to be quite strong in smell, to doubling as a great hide and seek treat game option. My dog enjoys them but won't beg for them unlike other treats. They also do not upset his very sensitive stomach. If you are looking for a good intermediate training treat between their normal food and high-end rewards this is a great option!

My Dog Has Issued Her Approval
These treats are a big hit with my dog, which is really the only review committee that matters here. She loves them, and they work great for training, rewarding good behavior, or convincing her that I am a generous and benevolent treat dispenser. The 2 lb. bag is also a nice size, because apparently “just one treat” is not a concept my dog recognizes. They also are made from real ingredients that make me feel more comfortable with that fact. They are easy to use, smell appealing enough to get her attention, and have been very effective at making her suddenly remember that she does, in fact, know how to sit. Five stars. My dog loves them, training is easier, and I remain employed as the household snack manager.

A Training Must Have!
I recently purchased the 2-pound bag of Wag Chicken Flavor Training Treats for my 1 year old pup, and I’m thoroughly impressed with their quality and effectiveness. Quality: These treats are made with real chicken and I love that they contain no artificial additives or fillers. Knowing that I’m giving my pup tasty but nutritious treats. Size & Texture: The treats are small and soft, making them ideal for training sessions. Their size allows for quick rewards, and they don’t crumble easily, so I can carry them in my pocket without worrying about mess. The soft texture also means my dog can chew and swallow them quickly, keeping the training flow smooth. Flavor: My dog absolutely loves the chicken flavor! His excitement when I pull out the bag is palpable, and it really helps maintain his focus during training. The fact that he’s so eager for these treats motivates him to learn and respond to commands more effectively. Training Results: Since incorporating these treats into our routine, I’ve noticed a marked improvement in his behavior and obedience. They serve as a great incentive for positive reinforcement, making it easier for him to grasp new commands and tricks. The progress we've made has been both rewarding and fun! Value: The 2-pound bag is an excellent value for the price. The quantity is generous for the price compared to other brands. This makes them a cost-effective choice for regular training sessions. Overall Experience: In conclusion, I highly recommend the Wag Training Treats for dog owners looking to enhance their training efforts. They offer a fantastic blend of flavor, quality, and value, making them a must-have for any trainer. With these treats, you’re not just rewarding your dog; you’re setting the stage for a more successful and enjoyable training journey!

Dogs love them, the bag smells
A week in and the dogs hear the bag crinkle from the other side of the room, so the refuse-these reviews don't apply hear. The cubes are the right size for a training session, a few per sit-stay, low enough in calories that I can toss them without guilt. No tummy trouble, no pickiness. Opening the bag does release a strong chicken smell, and there's dust and crumble packed at the bottom. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, test with a handful first rather than committing to a full 2 lb bag. For a food-motivated dog this is the cheapest effective training treat I've found; picky eaters may turn their nose up.

Great Training Treats
I've bought this twice now, and my dog absolutely loves thems. She's in a training class right now, and they have us using real meat (chicken, pork, beef) cut into little pieces. Their theory is dogs won't perform as well unless you use real meat. They specifically tell us not to use dog training treats like these. But my dog started having bad diarrhea after eating all that real meat. So I started trying these Wag treats, the ones the trainer said won't work, and they work great. My dog will do any thing I ask her to do with these as her only reward. I've read the reviews about these being too hard/tough for the dog. I have no idea where they're getting this. They come in an airtight plastic bag. They're soft when you take them out of the bag and stay that way as long as you put them back into the bag. I had a few that were left in my jacket pocket a day or two, and they got a bit hard, but they were still perfectly edible and my dog reacted the same with the stale ones that sge did with the fresh ones. I recommend these training treats.

Puppy loves these treats!
My 4 month old puppy LOVES the Amazon Basics chicken treats! She is normally distracted on walks but would come to me and look at me when called because she loves this treat. I have 3-4 other kinds of treats in the rotation so she doesn’t get tired of them. So far she has not gotten tired of this, but now ignores freeze dried liver treats. It works well for us because Amazon Basics chicken treats are cheaper than freeze dried treats! While others have complained about the smell, our dog trainers have said that dogs do prefer stinky treats. These treats don’t smell like chocolate chip cookies but that’s okay with my dog! I just wash my hands after. :)

Good for price, but kind of crumby treats
They work for what they are, especially for the price. My dogs seem to like them enough and they are a good training treat size. My only critique is that these treats are quite crumbly and are on the drier side.
