Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7" Case - roocase Orb System Folio 360 Dual View Leather Case Smart Cover (Brown) - I received this today, within the 2 day Prime delivery schedule (packaged very well). I truly like the Brown color. It's just what I envisioned, classy looking. My Kindle Fire HDX 7" (2103 2nd generation) snapped right into the case with the power and volume buttons and the speakers all showing in their proper locations. At first I thought there was no carry handle, but when I lifted the Kindle up to check-out the detachable location, I found the strap. So the strap can only be used when the Kindle is detached from the case cover. This really isn't a big deal for me as I've never had such a handle and I think I will probably not detach the Kindle from the cover anyway. The card slots are handy, though again, I would be unlikely to use them for their intended purpose. I may slip a note in one now and again. This seems like a quality case and for the way I use it, it should last for quite some time.

I love my Kindle Fire HDX 7. I take it everywhere. It's always shoved into my purse/diaper bag/camera bag. This is the fourth case I've had it in, and I wish I would have bought it first. I have resisted, because I like patterns and graphics and designs. I do wish this came with some patterns or graphics, but the protection it offers is worth the five stars. I love that it can be positioned at so many different angles instead of the usual set two or three. I love that it can be snapped out of the case without removing the actual entire case. It's comfortable and sturdy. Almost four months later - four months of daily, heavy use - and it shows pretty much no wear. The red is vibrant and beautiful. This is an all around excellent case.

My Fire HDX case arrived in two days and is as advertised. It is a little thinner and lighter than my previous case. In spite of that I am certain that it will do an excellent job of protecting my HDX in case of any drops. My previous case worked well for me, but after a great deal of use, finally wore out. This roocase that I just received is a nice shade of brown leather. It looks exactly like the photo on Amazon. My favorite part of the roocase is the system used to hold the tablet open at an angle for reading or viewing. Roocase uses several dimple shaped nobs to hold the tablet in place and this offers a more secure hold and a greater variety of positions with which to do so. The circular holder at the back of the tablet rotates the tablet from a vertical to horizontal angle and works flawlessly. I am quite pleased with this roocase and all of its features. The only thing that might go wrong is with durability. The case seems well built and I do believe that it will last a long time, but only time will tell.

This a nice well made case. However, my Kindle was freezing up constantly and the touch screen was not working. After getting help from tech support and then doing a factory reset, I decided I had worn out my Kindle and ordered a new one.. I was shopping for a new case and so the review that told of his Kindle not operating correctly until it was removed from the case. Guess what? I removed my Kindle from the case a d now it is working great again. Of course, now I also have a brand new one that I didn't even need!!!

Very nice! Designed specifically for my Kindle. Love the automatic turn off and turn on with the closing and opening of case cover. Easy to plug in when recharging. It pivots easily when I want to rotate Kindle. My older cases would not pivot so well, it was always hard to turn. Cut outs on back make for easy access to on/off switch, volume switch and speakers. Also, can remove Kindle easily with inner protector that has a strap for your hand. Well designed!

I've had this cover for a while now and still love it. It is very well made and the phone unclips easy so you can hold just the Kindle. The piece that the Kindle snaps into has a strap on it for your your hand which is a nice touch. It makes it easy to hold onto while it's out of the leather like case.The cover itself is very well made and rich looking. It is really wearing well. It still looks like new. I would say it will last a long time under normal conditions. One other thing, the Kindle turns on when you open the cover.I would highly recommend this cover.

Definitely one of my most favorite cases I've had for my HDX and I've gone through a lot in the last 3-4 years! I love that you can actually remove your kindle from the cover but then when you need to stand it up or take it out of the house you can attach the cover! Brilliant! And I love that it doesn't cover the front of my Kindle because I have an awesome decorative skin on it and I hate any cases that cover that! Definitely a great purchase!

Very nice case. I bought this one to replace the case my husband had on his Kindle Fire HDX. It was an older version so there was pretty much this case and the one he already had on it - which I don't really like. I love how this one works. It is very convenient when trying to prop the kindle up for viewing. I haven't used it much but I am very impressed both with the price and the quality so far.
