I recently took up running and found that one of the major irritations is that my glasses, either varifocals or prescription sunglasses, slide down my nose with the action of running and even more so as I sweat. I bought this set in desperation, thinking that even if the strap was too uncomfortable to wear, the clips may keep my glasses on a little longer. The strap worked perfectly for me. I wear it at the base of the head/top of the neck as this is in line with the end of the glasses and I find it can barely be seen at all as it's covered by my hair. More importantly, it stopped my glasses slipping and prevented the annoying 'pushing-glasses-back-up-the-nose-again' action from being necessary. I wouldn't wear them all the time but for a 30 minute run they are perfectly comfortable and have solved the specific problem I had. Two straps mean I can switch from one pair of glasses to another, mid-run, if I need to ( i.e. if the sun comes out or it clouds over). Very happy with this product, and at two pound per strap, it's a bargain too. Have just tried the clips and they seem to work well for everyday use as they also stop slippage. An added bonus.

I'm a chronic myope, since aged 8. I'm also an ex infantry soldier with 30 years in unoform. That's a violently physical line of work, having your spectacles slide down your nose all the time is a major pain. It's no joke in office work either, in truth, and I've tried all sorts of expedients to solve it, over time. These little dirt-cheap add-ons are dead simpl, and far-and-away the best solution I have ever found, bar none in nearly 60 years of being a speccy swot. The only down-side is that they are just not quite snug enough on the arms of a modern lightweight alloy frame (the plastic on the arms of mine run from 2.5 mm at the top of the ear, to approx 3.75 mm behind the ear), and I found I could easily dislodge these add-ons, unnoticed, which was sad, and explains the 4 stars rather than 5. BUT - I happened to have tucked away some 5mm (outer diameter) silicon tubing from a surgical catheter (unused, trust me on this). I have solved the problem by sliding that into these add-ons, cutting the length to fit (~5mm) and then sliding the arms of my spectacles through the silicon tubing - see photo (look closely, you'll see the black outer which is the purchased item, and a clear plastic inner 'sleeve', which is my little expedient). That gave a tight yet easily adjusted fit on the glasses, with all the comfort that the designers intended. I'm very, very pleased with this purchase.

I lost a pair of glasses in a fall while walking on my local moor recently (an expensive walk!) so decided once I'd got a new pair that I'd not allow that to happen again. I originally was planning to use the strap (x2) but actually in use I prefer the ear hooks which still keep your glasses securely on your face. As an added benefit as a varifocal user they ensure that your glasses remain in the correct position on your face for optimum viewing rather than slipping down your nose as can be case otherwise which is important since it can create distortions in your vision as well as been a little irksome. I would recommend particularly when weighed against the potential cost of damaged or lost glasses without using the same.

I wasn't expecting much but actually these work really well. They have a rubber sock on the end that fits most glass legs and with the simple tightener means my glasses are stuck to my face even when sweaty. OK not the most pretty solution but if like me you lose glasses once you nose if wet or sweaty they are brilliant. Great also on bikes and any activity when you may lose the old bins. Lick the end and they stick to your forehead when you are bored.

I bought this because it was one of the better looking solutions to keeping your glasses in place while playing sports , or so I thought. Yes it looks good but it the strap does not keep your glasses in place. Yes it prevents you from losing them but any adjustments you make to the length does not stay. As soon as you move or put any pressure on it it slides open. Almost a good product. All the makers need to do is work out a way of making sure the straps don't slip after you've adjusted them. Put a tiny 'press to release ' system or add a little friction to the sliding mechanism. But I guess you get what you pay for !

This package is just excellent value for money. It does what it says with minimum fuss. You get 2x straps and 2x pairs of ear grips and can use either. Both very quick & simple to fix on and comfortable to wear. Your glasses will not budge I promise you. Downward dog? No problem! Highly recommend.

I recieved both ear hooks and the anti slip strap glasses retainers in good time. The anti slip straps are great and I often forget that I'm wearing them. The difficulty with the straps is that it is more awkward when changing my glasses from sunglasses to clear or visa versa. There's no fault with the straps, it often means that I have a lot of things in my hands at any one time and I would advise to sit down and change glasses and don't do it while walking along. I would offer the same advice with the ear hooks, though I do find them a lot easier and use these when I am going to be in and out of the sun. A lot easier. My wife tried the ear hooks and could not get on with them at all, they were not comfortable due to the shape of her ears, so not for everyone, but perfect for me.

Bought these for my glasses for when I’m on my SUP, they have worked a treat. I’ll also be using just the rubber bits for when I go to the gym as I know that they will hold my glasses on my sweaty face and stop them from falling down my nose.
