- Fit right in, so matched the size it claims to be- Is nicely bright, white light. Not in the Dark Now
Let there be light! So happy to see this package, I really missed my desk lamp. In the interim I was using a cool vintage?I'm guessing from the late 60's. The switch on that lamp broke.The bulb I had ordered before this one arrived broken (different vendor) so I was starting to think I'd be in the dark forever. My new bulb from Universal Lighting and Decor arrived in perfect condition, well packaged and worked just fine. When I saw that it arrived in February I was surprised. I really didn't think I had it that long, or that I was that far behind on my reviews. So at least I can say I've been burning it everyday and most of every night for 6 months and still burning.

does NOT replace verilux bulb CFML27VLX
This bulb does NOT replace verilux bulb CFML27VLX. It appears to be identical at first glance, but the fitting on this bulb has two protrusions/nodules that come out on the sides that prevent it from being inserted fully into the socket.It was shipped quickly and packaged well, but I cannot speak to the functionality of it as it did not fit in my lamp. They really need to specify in the description which bulbs it replaces to save this type of hassle.
