simple, effective, and inexpensive
These are simple, effective, and inexpensive sun shades. They fold up very easily (takes me about 2 seconds to fold and wrap the retaining band around them), and they do a good job of blocking the sun/heat. They fit a 1997 4Runner perfectly--so I'm guessing that they fit just about any mid-size to large auto well (but maybe not the latest generation of monster-huge SUVs like the Expedition or whatever). Some reviewers have complained of these being difficult to fold up (no instructions are included). They're very easy to fold--but, you've got to know how to do it, I guess. (I had another, similar set before, so I knew how it's done.) You just hold them by opposite corners, and twist your wrists 180 degrees in opposite directions. That's really all there is to it--the shades then collapse into circles about 1/4 of their unfolded size.

Great Sunshade
I live in South Florida and have used this type of sunshade for at least 15 years. This one is small - it just fits my Toyota Corolla. They give the dimensions - so just measure your windshield to see if you need one of the larger models. Folding it up is a little tricky at first. Once you learn how to do it(which doesn't take much practice), I can fold them in 2 seconds or less. The trick is to slide them together, grab diagonal corners(upper left, bottom right for example). Grab one corner with an overhand grip, and the other with an underhand grip, and twist while bringing your hands together. It shouldn't make any difference, but for me I grab the top left underhanded, and the bottom right overhanded. Does a good job of keeping the interior cooler. I have also used the foil one - it might look flimsy, but mine lasted a couple years before starting to tear. I might have had a different brand though(?). They fold-up the size of a dinner plate and are easily stored between the seat and console(or elsewhere).

Good product may not fit perfect in all cars.
Its a good product. It folds easily and feels solid. It is a little difficult to setup but that probably depends on the model car you have (I have a 2007 Camry). Once you get used to it its a non issue but I imagine other sunshades would be easier to setup. It folds very small and is easy to stow away when not needed. This product reduces how hot my car is when I'm ready to go home from work.

Works great! Maybe not for Prius
I just got these in the mail today. It's been ranging between 102-110 for the past two weeks where I live so I was really looking forward to getting these. Mine came with a silver reflective material on one side and black on the other which is what I was hopping for as it keeps the interior darker. I have a 2012 prius. Unfortunately the shades do not fit perfectly in the front window of the prius (they're a little small). I decided to go with a less expensive shade than the actual prius designed shades which were $30 more. With a little mcgivering the shades stay in place alright. I noticed immediately that the shades significantly darken the interior so I'm overall really pleased with this purchase.

Great product hampered by Amazon's inability to properly market
Having been a Magic Shade sunshade user for several years now, I'm well acquainted with this products virtues (and vices), so when it came time to order up a new sunshade for one of our cars, the choice for me was pretty much a no brainer. Rather than waste a trip to one of the local B&M stores in the hope that they might have something in stock, I opted to try buying on Amazon instead. Since I had paid to be a Prime customer I knew it would arrive in a couple of days. But from that final mouse click I should've realized that the buying experience was sadly flawed. The shade arrived with the usual Prime quickness, but from the moment I opened the shipping box it was then that I realized that Amazon's sales process didn't ask me for the actual SIZE of the shade. Magic Shades come in at least TWO different sizes; the one Amazon shipped is Standard, whereas what I really needed was Jumbo. The product packaging has all of the fitment information on the back; however WHEN YOU BUY ONLINE it's up to the SELLER to provide that information, which Amazon did not.Needless to say, the shipped Magic Shade turned out to be a bit too small for installation on our Mazda although it does do about 90%+ of the job. The actual coverage width of the two panels side-by-side was fine in the car but the overall height came out a bit short. However using the car's sun visors to hold the shade panels actually works to keep most of the sun out at the head of the windshield. This particular sunshade is made in the preferred nylon and came in the standard gray-silver on the outfacing side. My wife was dubious and ambivalent over the choice, having been an accordion-type shade user. But after carefully showing her the proper stacking, hand grip and wrist-flip action, she got the shade 'fold-down' on her very first try, and was satisfied that this shade would work fine in the car. And I no longer have to deal with those bloody accordion sunshades that sag and wilt over time anymore.Other things of note: through experience I found that over time the 'frame' of the Magic Shade shades can bind up during its 'twist' motion through repeated folding/unfolding. Generally it's been easy to fix and continue to use, but I have had one set that I had to replace because the frame actually bent and no longer would open into its proper shape. Also, the standard-sized shade seems (to me) to have overly rounded corners on the shade panels, allowing for more sunlight to get through at the base of the car's A-pillars and the center of the dash at the base of the windshield than what I've been accustomed to with the larger jumbo shades. While the product itself is still what I consider the preferential type of sunshade for our cars, the lack of provided fitment information by Amazon is a crying shame. It dilutes the power of purchasing online and negates the benefit of saving myself the time, trouble and gasoline of going to the nearest Target or Fred Meyer and tracking down the proper sized Magic Shade locally. Considering that more and more cars--including subcompacts--have larger windshields these days, accounting for multiple sizings is a MUST, and in that regard Amazon lets the buying public down. Although I found out later that there are Marketplace seller who offer the jumbo-sized Magic Shade, their shipping pricing ultimately gives pause to receiving value and savings over shopping locally.

Fits my Fiat 500 PoP perfectly
My Fiat is, as you know, a tiny car - but with a huge windshield. After careful measurement I figured these would fit, so ordered them. They are well made - not cheap, and fit my car perfectly. I had always had the "single" large foldable shades before, but after getting these I find I prefeer the two separate pieces; they give you more options for coverage and are easier to use. As for the other reviewer's problems with folding them up - c'mon folks, it ain't that hard? One hand on top in one corner, one hand on the bottom on the opposite corner, and just "twist" them closed into a small circle - which stays closed by the way. Oh, and they are excellent at blocking the sun.

Not the product shown in the pricture
It is not the shades shown in the picture. I wanted those with the matt silver on one side (Nylon, as the description said). The one that we received where shiny silver and plastic, cheaply made, all krinkely and hard to fold. Will return.
