Different but the same
A different style oximeter to the one I ordered but it’s still an oximeter so very pleased. Came with batteries and a very clear and easy to read instruction leaflet.

Good product
I have a chronic lung and heart condition. Was advised to buy one of these to get accurate sats data. Easy to use.

No good
The product received in no way resembles the item advertised. Very cheap imitation with missing lanyard, carry case and faulty battery compartment. Different colour altogether. Very disappointed.

Unraveling the mystery
Pulse oximeters became headline news when we “learned” that low oxygen saturation levels can be a sign ofCOVID-19.Most people, like myself, had no real idea what these monitors did, nor whether they were (are) effective. The shorthand version is that Pulse oximetry is a test used which measures the oxygen level (oxygen saturation) of your blood. It is actually a very easy and painless measure of how well oxygen is being sent to parts of our body furthest from your heart, such as the arms and legs. The logic for using this device is it seems is that shortness of breath, a symptom of the COVID-19, may not be easy, or even possible, for a person to reasonably self-assess but bingo the Oximeter is here to help do that job!It comes in at a fairly sensible price point and is extremely easy to use.Oddly, for purely a routine matter with my GP, the first thing that they did was use the Oximeter to test my blood oxygen levels! It seems like a no brainer to have one of these products available especially if you live in a larger household where you can share it with family members.I’m very happy with it, it’s easy to use and as far as I can see it’s pretty accurate. You have to become aware of the numbers both positive and if they are at a “danger zone“.I only really issue with this product is the tiny instructions provided within the packaging which are impossible to read without the aid of a magnifying glass and the size of Jupiter.I say this having reasonably good eyesight!

Excellent.
So far so good. Please use quality batteries not the rubbish supplied.Once new batteries installed the Oximeter worked fine with results within 10 secs.Very easy to read the display, unlike the instructions.Simple to use, simply pop finger in and press the button, your results will appear in approximately 10 secs.Oximeter differs slightly in appearance to one in description, quality is good though. No bag was included although it advertised one was included. So far I am perfectly happy with this Oximeter.Review Posted 28.01.2021Will do a follow up review in 28 days.

Finger Position
I cant compare to others as this is my first Oximeter. It comes in a substantial box with its batteries and instructions. We found that the pad of ones finger needs to face up instead of down to make it work. This doesnt affect its efficiency but could make you regard it as faulty if you dont try the up position. It starts at a high reading and gradually comes down and stabilises and goes up if you move or speak. It seems a decent gadget for the price despite its little quirk with the finger position.

Wildly variable
This is the same housing as many others, really hard to choose, just don't choose this one.Does not accept rechargeable batteries. Readings vary hugely depending on who knows what. I had a reading of <80% oxygenation, 215bpm, then after I sprang back to life and tried a different finger, 96%/72bpm. My wife noted that her oxygenation level reading decayed over a few seconds from her usual 98% to <85%. Was going to check against my next hospital readings, but not much point.
