Replacement parts for other brands of Running Boards
I purchased APS Running Boards from Amazon. I damaged the running boards mounting brackets and contacted APS a number of times to purchase replacement parts, this company only has an automated answering service and none of my calls were returned. I purchased the Westin mounting brackets, the brackets fit my truck perfectly, I only had to make a minor change to mount the running boards to the brackets. I had to purchase all six brackets (3 each side) to replace the two brackets that were damaged. The quality of the Westin brackets was less than the brackets that were supplied by APS, that is the reason for the three star rating for sturdiness.

Should have more brackets
Kits furnishes 3 brackets per side, very easy install on our 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab. Installed running boards 27-0010. Board at the rear doors flex more than I'd prefer. Truly need a 4th bracket to minimize the flexing. 4th bracket location would require drilling of 1 hole in the truck, that I don't have a problem with. Just need to find way to source the proper bracket.

With the auto manufacturer's working closer with the aftermarket suppliers now this mounting kit was almost too easy. The 2014 GMC truck had the mounting holes (with threads) for the bolts pre-installed at the factory. All a person had to do was install the bolt(s) and mounting brackets, install the running board of the customers choice, align everything, then tighten it all up according to the instructions with the running boards. I love a challenge but this was not one. :)

Never buying from this place again!
These would not fit the truck they were bought for. Even though when I purchased, it said they would.When I tried to process a return for these, surprise the window for returns had closed.Not even a couple of weeks.Will never buy from this company again!!!!!
