It is critical that you wash these separately from other items the first time you wash them AND wash them before using. Seeing the reviews about lint, I opted to run them in the dryer twice after washing, once on heat, the second time on air dry...along with a tennis ball.They were still a bit linty, when I towel dried my face there was lint.The second wash and dry, they are perfect. Absorbent, soft, just a great hand cloth, hand towel, and body towel. I have very long thick hair, and use another towel for my head, this is just too heavy a towel to wrap one's hair turban like.I purchased the grey color, and the color is as pictured. I would purchase this again.UPDATEDOK, so the lint thing is real. I've had these for a few months, and even with several weekly washes: the wash cloths have lint that cause the drain in the tub to clog, after I dry off my body I have to then brush the lint off myself. I use the face towel on my face only to have to follow with a facial tissue ir get lint in my eyes.BUT, I keep using them because they are thick and so soft and absorbent. I just hope the lint issue will stop with use.

A neighbor gave me a NICE towel 2 years back (800+ gsm) and it became our favorite. I bought this set to fill out our bathroom with a few of the same.The VERY luxurious, soft and very drying feel is all there, love the color.2 thoughts: the first 3-4 washes are going to FILL your lint filter in your drier- remember to empty it, every time. Also- the fabric is showing some tufts here and there, right away.That said- they are very nice and are a big upgrade from our other towels. If they hold up for a few years, it's a great set!! I'll update the review if they don't :)

I really like these towels but was sent the same color for both shipments after I noticed the issue and had already contacted customer service.One package was Teal color but they delivered Gray color.Second package I thought would be the Teal as they assured me, but was also Gray color.

Color is not same as picture. It's ugly but need for guest.

They are nice, but snagged right away.. .which is a common problem with these plush towels. If you are gentle with them, they will do great...but probably not good for guests or rough handed people.

I like the look and color is on point.

Pleasantly surprised at the heft and thickness. I purchased white and they are beautiful. I have washed and machine dryer them in preparation for use when my daughter comes to visit. They are not “super super soft” but definitely soft and luxurious enough. I think they will stand up well for a long time. They looked even better than new out of the dryer! These are definitely “thirsty” cotton towels! And to keep them that way I purposely did NOT use fabric softener or dryer sheets. Those products can leave a residue that can deter absorption. I found that tumble drying on “air” for a few minutes after they were dry made them even more luxurious!! I want a set for myself and my husband next!!
