Mega bright, and reassuringly heavy. Good quality as you would expect from Maglite. I didn’t think it would cast as far as the non-LED version but it does. I think it actually goes further. I think these are better than the LED conversion kits too.

Maglite, what can you fault? This is however the 3rd I’ve had to have sent out. Something wrong with the LED diode on the first one, the second one looked used (oil on it, dirty, scratched) and finally a 3rd one that I kept. I already have the 3 cell (LED) and have bought this 4 cell too. I wanted the 1,002 lumens, which is 400 lumens brighter than the 3-cell, which is noticeable. I have also bought the 2 cell ML300L, greedy I know, this is coming from Amazon US. Love these factory built LED Maglite’s. One reviewer commented on the price being 40% higher than the USA but they are made over there and imported with additional costs to the the rest of the world (in particular UK VAT and duties) so what do you expect?!?! I also have the old school 4 Cell xenon which I’ve extended to 6 cell and have the crew XHP35 1,800 lumen diode in which is amazingly bright.

Its solid and the right length and weight, no strobe but high power is totally dazzling even in daylight. Totally overpriced, Going for £45 in USA, i think i would have been happier to pay £70ish.

This is a replacement as the original Maglite which had been purchased over 40 years ago was 'borrowed' by a friend and never returned. It works like a treat, but I would not expect anything less. It might seem a bit expensive, but you do have to pay a little bit more for quality. I am sure that this will outlast me!

This MagLite ML300L is a great LED flashlight. Just what I needed! Flashlights that use 4 cell D batteries instead of AAA batteries ensures a longer shelf life for an extended period of time. This is great as an emergency backup light! Flashlights that use AAA's tend to drain faster when stored over a period of time. This makes them useless when needed. The MagLite ML300L is very bright, has an adjustable beam for wide to narrow coverage. It also has a sturdy, tough metal body providing years of durability!

Apenas la he encendido unas cuantas veces y por breve tiempo y la luz es increíblemente clara. Necesito hacer más revisión de ella pero por lo que he visto promete mucho mucho. No se cuanto le rinde las pilas (4D) debo hacer pruebas a la distancia y ver que tal lo hace. Actualizare mis conclusiones luego
