Finally, a great driveway light that can be wired appropriately and doesn't break the bank!
I've been waiting maybe three years for a decent driveway floodlight -- LED, warm white, knuckle mount and not a pronged plug -- at a decent price. I don't know why this light (the 40w one, almost 5000 lumens) showed up on Amazon at under $40, but I bought three with the intent to try one and see if it was a decent replacement for my 300w halogens. It seems that it is! I've installed three of these to cover my 120' driveway, and I've just ordered more to replace the various other halogen or incandescent bulbs that light my property. I worry just a bit that the thumbscrew that tightens the knuckle mount is plastic, but I don't think it's a deal-breaker. So far, the light from these units is more than adequate and pleasing to the eye. I'll report back if they begin to disappoint.

Simple and bright. Good value.
Bought these to put in my driveway to illuminate our basketball hoop. These lights are more than sufficient and look great too. You'll need to make sure to purchase the mounting box and plates separately if you don't plan on using ones that you have already.
