I bought this slow cooker primarily to use in my home office setting so I did'nt have to wait for my lunches to warm up..(i only have a 30 minute scheduled break). I have also used it to warm up sauses that would normally require a double boiler. It's great for just about anything you need kept warm.

My Mom wanted a little crock pot to make individual meals. To use such a small pot, she has to cut the amounts in recipes by half to even one fourth, but she's only cooking for one. This has the same two heat settings that the larger models have. She's happy with it.

I purchased this l.5 quart slow cooker at Fleet Farm in Stevens Point, WI on black friday last Nov.I have noticed a hot spot in this cooker at about 3 or 4 o'clock looking at it from the front. Twice I had meat burn after starting it at high for and hour or so and then on low for about 5 or 6 hours.

I bought this mainly for gravies and sauces, to keep them at serving temperature. it works well. Especially for pool parties and weekinds on the back deck where everyone ears as they get hungary.

Perfect size for just myself. Havent been cooking or eating much since my Mom passed away in April. Now I can.

I can cook beans during I sleep!Right size for good amount of beans.I cook apples with cinnamon & sugar,Came out perfect.

Please see customer photos. I got this crock pot as part of a promotion at a store when you buy a certian amount of products you got the crock as part of the deal. Considering I was looking into gettting a crock of this size I went for the deal. I used the crock maybe 3 times that first year and on the third use one of the plastic side handles broke off when I went to move the crock. I used it with only the one handle for the next year (maybe three aditional times) and today the other handle broke off. Both times the handles broke when the product was in use and warm. The screws go into a plastic tunnel that holds the handles on and those tunnels just crumbled when the product was warm. I am surprised there was not a recall for this. I would guess that this could be rather a dangerous situation. Lucky for us it did not cause injury since I was moving the product only a few feet down the countertop and it was only an inch above the coutner when the handle broke, not across a room where the hot contents could have spilled on myself or my flooring causing injury and damage. It was a nice little crock otherwise, I adored the size. but I guess I need to find another one now, I didn't get to use this one much, but when I did I was really glad I had one this size.
