It does have a misleading title
I think these arrangements are lovely, and the styles of music are diverse. However they are definitely NOT the first 50 songs you should play on a harp. I agree with the prior review that this book is poorly titled. These are at least intermediate level. I've been a harp hobbyist, playing multiple times a week for several years and I find most of these songs a little challenging, albeit in a good way. But I would have been highly discouraged if I had bought this book as a complete beginner, and I didn't buy it for several months despite it being in my recommendations because I thought they would be beginner arrangements. They also do work better on a pedal harp than lever harp as most would require a number of lever changes.

Fantastic Book for Intermediate Harpists
Misleading title on a fantastic harp book. These are definitely a great selection of pieces every harpist longs to play, HOWEVER the arrangements are more suitable for advanced-intermediate lever harp players. The notation is excellent! Lever and pedal markings are clearly written. Chord markings are included as well, making it great for improvising fresh accompaniments over the repeats or playing duets with other instrumentalists. This books has saved me countless hours of arranging (and money), so that I can spend more time practicing!

Nice book
This book has a nice variety of songs and difficulty levels vary. Many of them would be easier to play if you have a pedal harp.

hit or miss
This book is a much-needed resource: 50 well-known songs arranged for harpists at the intermediate level, with special care shown to lever harpists. It's a great book to have and some of the arrangements are beautiful. The arrangement for Let It Go from Frozen, though, probably needed more feedback before this went to print. The left hand has some poor choices and in the melody, some important notes are missing. (Ex: one of the "Let it go" lyrics becomes just "Let go.") Finally, as others have said, the book would be much more functional if it were spiral bound. It's very awkward to keep open and try to turn pages while playing.

Great for intermediate harpists
Great book, but the book format is little bit hard to handle in practice on a sheet music stand.

Not the best arrangements for harp
Having bought and played the piano version for this series, I was expecting an equally enjoyable experience. However, the music doesn't seem to flow well for harp playing, but more like an adapted version of a piano score. I tried many pieces and noticed there were also some odd sounding chords as well. I didn't see any reviews for the harp version specifically so I thought I would leave a review. By the way the difficulty is more intermediate to advance. The title seems to imply it is suitable for beginners but it is not.

Nicely done but not for beginners.
Nice songs, but not for beginners, Iโll need a lot of practice before playing any of these. Will be good for the next couple of years.
