Wonderful
We bought this head collar for our one year old great dane. He had already been wearing a head collar from a different brand (dogmatic), which had been an absolute god-send after using normal neck collars of different types in terms of stopping him pulling on the lead, but the straps were a bit narrow and the loop under the chin was too big and he kept getting it in his mouth (and had completely chewed through one). This product is much better because the straps are wider and more robust and the loop under the chin is mostly chain, so he doesn't bother playing that game with it. He had a panic getting into the boot of my car and in the struggle the plastic buckle broke. I phoned Ali and she was very sympathetic and helpful and has posted me a replacement buckle free of charge (which we will swap over with the broken one) and offered to do it for us if we posted the collar back to her as an alternative. Very happy with this product and the exceptional service.

Finally. A great head collar for Rodney
Rodney lives up to his name - he's a plonker!Every halti/head collar I have tried he has destroyed by turning round, grabbing the material from the halting or lately the figure 8 head collars, and pulling, so basically I've been yanked about by him regardless. On top of this it takes no time before he has chewed through it and we're left with nothing.I was getting ready to buy my own materials and make my own head collar when I thought I'd give it one more try.I was a bit wary with this costing £37.99, because if he does to this as he has with the others it would be an expensive buy for something I'd be replacing in no time.HOWEVER, hubby took Rodders out and when I asked how it was I got the generic "mumble mumble, he was good", so I took him a couple of hours later and when he tried his usual spin, grab and pull, all he got was the chain - which he didn't like, so after a couple of tries, he gave up.Then he went to lung and bark at the man coming from the flats and all I did was pull lightly on my lead and he immediately settled back and walked normally.Lastly, this morning both hubby and I walked Rodney and where he usually continually spins and grabs getting over excited and pulling like mad, he again tried it, got the chain and gave up. For the rest of the walk he walked alongside us being really well behaved.Admittedly we've not had the real test if him seeing a cat and getting worked up, but I have faith this head coller will do the job and keep him at my side and not yanking me here, there and everywhere. The colour looks amazing on him - note the picture. He seems comfortable in it (no trying to yank it off) and I have control over him, which considering I have to walk with a crutch, this is the best thing we've had in 6 years.Definitely recommend it if you have a slightly unruly dog who likes to pull and be a wee devil

Good
If you live in the world of big dogs, finding the right head collar is a challenge, effective and not abrasive on the skin is a difficult balance. This product is, good. It’s very soft in terms of fit, does not rub our dogs nose which is hard to find.In terms of effectiveness, it’s OK. It stops the effect of harsh pulling but if you’re buying this to STOP your dog from pulling, it won’t do the job, you’ll have to do that through training. But if you feel like you want to stop your shoulder from dislocating during random spats of lunching, it’ll serve you well.I still think a slip look with a figure of 8 on the nose is the best in terms of stopping the dog from pulling, but I don’t like how that rubs on the dogs nose. For reference, we have two Dobermann.

A must buy
Had plenty of these in different brands... This is defo the best.. all the rest have been chewed through not this one.... It also seems to be & looks more comfortable so for the amount of money spent on previous ones your better off spending a bit more on having this one.

Fantastic quality!
I was looking into another walking aid for my 7 month old rottweiler puppy after trying many other methods, it really was becoming a nightmare to walk him leaving me aching all evening from the excessive pulling. I was skeptical at first due to the price but the minute I received it , I knew it was a hands down quality product and well worth the money. I measured at around the size 2 mark but was worried it might be too small but it fit perfectly as it came and my boy is around 36-40 kilo. It is going to take a little getting used to and he isn't keen on it right now but after a 10 minute walk yesterday evening whilst trying to get him used to it , it was a major difference. Absolutely worth every penny and I definitely recommend this to anyone with big powerful breeds that have a lot of strength xxx

Headstrong 40kg pup.
This has been a lifesaver. Having been pulled over several times it’s stopped it in its tracks. Beautifully made. Strong. Easy to use. Much more room for the dogs muzzle than standard haltis. I love mine. My dog hates it because he can’t pull and ride roughshod all over me.

Safety clip WARNING
The safety link that’s attached to the head collar was wrapped in black tape peeled that away to find it only had one staple to hold it together so if it was your dog gets off the head collar it’s with high doubt especially with a large breed dog it would not hold luckily we have a halti brand safety link to attach instead very disappointing the head collar itself seems to be ok well padded and doesn’t ride up into the eyes there is some parts especially on the cheek straps that appear to have glue that easily comes away but doesn’t seem to effect the safety of the head collar for what I’ve paid for the item I certainly would expect better quality
