She wasn't scared anymore and enjoyed showing the doctor all of her doctor tools
Really cute set. My 18 month old daughter loves Dora and was terrified of the doctor's. Now, she is using this little kit to take care of one of her teddy bears which she walks around saying "bear is sick". We brought this kit with us to the doctors the last visit, and it was night and day. She wasn't scared anymore and enjoyed showing the doctor all of her doctor tools.

toddler loves it
my toddler absolutely love this doctor kit. every time someone mentions the word "doctor" she runs off to the play room and grabs it and wants to play "doctor office". it was a great price, and had a great variety of pieces. glad i made this purchase.

This Doctor is not in............
I would rate this as just o-k. The plastic tubing on the stethoscope is stiff--won't get soft--so its not very usable or easy for a 3 yer old to do anything with it. Actually, I didn't find it easy to use when playing with her. It basically gets tossed aside. The "backpack" bag has a closure in the center only and is made of very soft fabric so when you put anything in it, there are gaps at both ends where the bag hangs open. I wouldn't buy it again--would search for something different.

It looked much more substantial in the photo. I was disappointed upon arrival but I had to keep it because it was a gift and I was out of time. I was rather embarrassed to give it as a gift because it looked very cheep. You can get a lot more for 35.00.

Cute Dora Kit, though alternatives may be cheaper/have more
I bought this for my daughter, who like most toddlers hates visiting the doctor. I specifically bought this *Dora* kit, even though another kit I'd loved as a kid (like this one: Fisher-Price Medical Kit ) has more pieces and is less expensive, because her doctor has a picture of Dora on her stethoscope, and I hoped my daughter would recognize that and be happy having her own to play with. This kit has most of the pieces the Fisher Price Kit has, minus the otoscope, and instead of the FP Kit's "bandage", there is a play cast. The pieces are in Dora-type colors, which are more feminine than the gender-neutral FP set. She does enjoy putting the play cast on her arm (and our arms too, though it's toddler-sized). The chart with Boots on it is just a flat piece of cardboard, and the glossy print is only on one side. You may want to laminate it for durability; I imagine it would get bent easily in the soft-sided storage bag, not to mention torn or otherwise damaged by a busy toddler. The bag is a thin material (light shiny purple woven on the outside, thin fuzzy white on the inside) with Backpack's face screen-printed on it. It closes with a strip of velcro (strong enough that it doesn't seem to want to pop open easily). The blood pressure band has a yellow band, not silver as shown above. It does not fit tightly, though I think that is for safety. It is slightly adjustable with the velcro strip, and is loose enough to fit around my arm, too (though note, I am a petite woman). The thermometer we have is also orange, different than shown above, but she doesn't care. The stethoscope is the same construction I remember from the Kit we had back in the late 70's - it DOES transmit sound, but very faintly. I think the manufacturers don't want to worry about children shouting into it and damaging their hearing. At this point, my daughter (2 y/o) isn't interested in the sound so much as just pretending to listen. She likes to pretend-listen to our breathing and heart, as well as try it out on her stuffed Boots and Dora Beanie Babies.Overall it is a nice kit, with most pieces constructed the same as the standard, well-loved, sturdy and safe FP kit, though the Boots chart is flimsy, and the Backpack-printed bag is of a thin material. I recommend it if your child really loves Dora; otherwise, you would be fine with the standard FP kit, which is less expensive and has more pieces, if you are just looking for a nice, well-rounded Doctor Kit for toddlers. I feel it is a bit overpriced, though I understand how licensing fees go (I work with licensed products myself), but I would not pay more than the sixteen dollars or so it's priced at through Amazon, unless your child really wants this kit. My daughter was very happy to see Dora and Boots as part of this kit, though, so for us it was worth it.

Fun item
Fun item for kids. My daughter in law is a PA and know she will have fun with this with the grandchildren. Lots of little items here for them to have fun playing with.

Better looking in person
I could not believe how nicely made this set is. If you are looking for something for your child, this really is a nice quality toy for them.

Great little set
My daughter loves it! Plays with it all the time. And the prices aren't very small (since she's 2). I like that it all fits into a little doctors bag. So cute!
