Pros:- Clear picture- Pan and zoom function- Lullaby- Night light- Talking function- Recording function (LOVE THIS)- Temperature functionCons:- Screen is very bright at night. The lowest brightness is blinding!- Night light and music button is too easy to press. Please make it harder to activate (i.e have to hold on to the button before activated). Reason being, my fingers have accidentally hit the button in the middle of the night, activating the light / music and waking up my baby as a result. This has happened a few times..- Motion activation randomly activates the screen even if baby did not move (not a big boo boo)All in all, I LOVE this monitor and everything it can do but really hate the music and night light button. Definitely 5 stars if the button were not so easily activated! I would definitely buy it again though :)

I’m going to start off by saying I’m a creature of habit and dont like change so when baby #2 arrived and my Summer monitor took a poop out of nowhere I had to do a lot of research fast on monitors. Basically consisted of googling best rated monitors for 2 kids and reading reviews. This one was top rated and a decent price. Big screen, good picture quality day and night. Very easy to use/operate. The shortest cord ever to hang on the wall, dumbest design flaw. Maybe ok if your plan is to set on a dresser or something but to hang on the wall so you can see down into the crib/bed (which is the view I prefer) huge fail here. SO zoomed in you can’t even view the whole crib or bed without moving the camera around. I thought the feature that turned on the screen when you child made noise was flawed. Would turn on when my husband went into the bathroom next to my daughters room but not when she was talking quite on her bed. (She’s 3).The 2 way speaker to talk to her was garbage. She could not hear me clearly, would break up and I couldn’t understand what she was saying to me.Another feature I don’t like is when the monitor turns on from sound it won’t turn off for 2 minutes. The monitor is very bright which is annoying at night. The total deal breaker for me is that I don’t like that there’s no option to darken the screen but still have sound. I loved that option with my summer monitor that I could still hear her but didn’t have to have the screen on. I’m returning and spending the extra $100 for a summer monitor which gives me 2 cameras instead of one. Buying on their site is cheaper and has the most updated ones, couldn’t find them on Amazon only old ones.

This monitor is the replacement for the monitor I gave to my daughter and her husband for Christmas prior to the birth of their first child... The monitor and camera performed flawlessly until it was accidentally dropped to the floor at which time the screen was damaged... I have been working with DB Power to obtain a replacement for my daughter's unit although the 1-year warranty had expired.DB Power's personally assistance has been outstanding... I want to thank Ralph and Christine for helping me obtain a new unit at half discount...I must give the baby monitor a 5-star rating now as DB Power's customer service was outstanding in resolution of the problem...What follows is my daughter's review of the previous unit that was damaged..."This monitor & camera got us through the entire first year of our baby's life. Lots of great memories. What I loved about it was being able to hear AND SEE our little one. It gave me peace of mind not just to hear but also to see our little one.The monitor has lots of bells and whistles, including the ability to turn on the night light on the camera, play short clips of lullabies, ability to adjust the view (zoom in and out, turn camera every direction), adjust volume, talk to baby, record video, and many more things. And the night vision on it is awesome.What I didn't like about this product was a few times the camera would randomly move which gave the eerie feeling that someone was spying on you. However, once we turned off the monitor and camera and turned them back on, each time that problem seemed to stop.The other thing that is frustrating for us is that we've dropped the monitor on a hard floor twice and it has messed up the screen so that now we have no image at all, just a blank white screen (see photo). The volume still works fine but that's it. Unfortunately our monitor is out of warranty so the company can't replace it, and also the company does not sell monitors separately, so if we want to get a new monitor we have to purchase an entire new set.And on a minor level, I wish it had a longer battery life and the ability to select a 12 hour time format on the monitor screen. Currently the only time stamp option is in 24 hour format.Overall this has been a great monitor!!Unfortunately, we're now going on a hunt for another monitor."

Just awful. I tried to find a good split screen option. It came easy to install but the defect in this product came to light as soon as I turned on the monitor!! I am around the corner from my baby’s room, not even 30 feet away, but the monitor kept losing the signal to the camera. The single bars bounced up and down like crazy. The worst part it’s the EXTREMELY LOUD beep every time it loses the signal. No joke, it is Amber Alert loud no matter what the volume setting is. This is absurd, especially bc the signal picks right back up after a second. Just adding a small delay before the alert sounds would be great.Also, the picture quality is AWFUL. I have the Infant Optics monitor in my older sons room. I placed the monitors side by side Bc I thought this monitor looked really dark and sepia toned. The difference was astounding. This monitor is grainy, blurry and has muted colors. My youngest a sons crib looked brown despite being gray. I even opened the blinds to give more light and it was still the same.I may have gotten a bad monitor, but unfortunately after a week of dealing with all the issues, I am returning this and restarting my search for a good split screen baby monitor.
