Well done, great little craft PERFECT present for Christmas/Birthday
I am an adult toy collector, usually 1/6th scale dolls as well as vinyl figures and lots of plush ponies, unicorns, and kitties. Those of you following my reviews will have read that my fiancé died in May 2015 and one of the phases I went through in processing his death and transitioning back to living alone and single was an odd period, and a long one, during which I did lots of girl's crafts, specifically girl's crafts, tons of them, sticker mosaics, paint/color by number, necklaces/bracelets, paintable plaster statues. I needed them to be simple, engaging, and pretty in order for them to distract me from my circumstances, but craft kit's geared toward adults were too complicated, and I just didn't have the brain power to knit a blanket or something like that. I did a great deal of these sorts of crafts as a child, they were my mother's favorite thing to buy me as presents, and while I would have chosen dolls or plush instead, in fairness to her, the crafts and kits and puzzles she chose for me never went undone. So I guess she gets mom points for that, right?THESE plush pillows really worked well for my needs. I bought three, the kitty, the unicorn, and the pony. I've completed the kitty and unicorn and I'm working through the pony now. I'll bullet-point the highlights and answers to the questions you may have.- one of the pictures I've attached to this review shows an unfinished pony pillow next to a Barbie scale doll and as you can see these pillows are quite petite.- there are no instructions, you get a pile of fabric swatches, a tool to poke them into the perforations in the pillow, and a little piece of paper identifying what numbered holes go with which colored swatches. It is not hard to figure out what to do, but I follow comments on my reviews, so if you do have difficulty you can ask me and I'll help you.- if you look at my picture, you'll see, the unfinished pillows are high quality and they have a vinyl panel on the front which has numbered perforated holes into which the fabric swatches are punched. It is an easy process and a peaceful activity.- the whole project takes an hour or so. Just long enough to be work, still short enough to be fun.- the kitty and unicorn pillows I've already completed look, when finished, exactly as portrayed in the pictures. They fit very nicely into my collection, your girl (or boy) (or you) will love having the pillow once it is completed. (Play hidden picture with the "toy mountain" pic I've attached, the kitty and unicorn are in there)

Best kids craft
These are really the best kids craft. They're simple enough for a four year old to do, but fun for older kids, and have lasting value once they're done as a cute pillow. The little fabric squares do tend to shed over time and come out randomly, so they don't endure forever. You can save them and keep pushing them back in. They also aren't the softest as the front craft part is a flexible plastic. But my daughters don't care and love having them on their bed. These make a great children's birthday gift as it isn't too complicated of a craft but is just extra cute. They have so many great designs.

Very cute kid-friendly crafting item
Bought this as a gift for an 8yr old that loves unicorns and crafts, but already own this for my 7yr old child. We are big fans of the plush craft pillows as they're simple enough for kids to do themselves, yet interesting/challenging enough to hold our kids attention for long periods of time. Also they make cute decorations that our kids love to display in their rooms and show off to others as something they did all by themselves. This particular one was a little more fun as it has the thicker yarn strands for the mane rather than just the small fabric pieces. My daughter loves this one. We were/are pleased with the purchase, thus buying for friends gifts as well.

Great, but smaller than expected
My almost 8 year old loved making this. She had made one with my help when she was younger. This time, she was able to make it all by herself. It is super cute and she liked it. My only critique is the size, it is smaller than I would have hoped. But still worth the purchase.

Great bday present
My daugther received this as a gift and now it's her number one thing tp bring to bday parties. Its so fun and easy to do. I needed to help with the mane a little and my daugther felt so accomplished. Its study and no material pieces have fallen out.

fun even for adults
This was an easy craft to do once I got a handle on it. The places to poke in the squares of material were spaced out just enough not to crowd each other but to cover the whole craft. It ended up looking just like the picture on the box when I was done. I enjoyed it.

Great for a 5-year old
Got this as a 5th birthday present for our daughter. It's perfectly suited for that age group, and she can essentially do the whole thing herself (although she likes doing it together as a group project too). There are no real directions to speak of, but it's pretty intuitive. Finished project is by no means heirloom quality, but she loves it and is proud that she did it by herself.

For Unicorn Lovers
My 6YO loves these pillow kits. She’s done a letter, rainbow, and unicorn, and this is my dad the cutest. Instructions are straight forward and she’s able to do this independently which is a huge win. Pictured is the unicorn in progress.
