Organic Traditions Stevia Leaf Powder, 3.5 oz (100 g)

Love the 'raw and green unprocessed' idea of this and after using it for awhile (1 week+ daily) in my black coffee, the taste has kind of grown on me & not too bad. HOWEVER, it's definitely not as sweet AND has a greens taste to it, not exactly the best combination with coffee. I've only used it in coffee but also noticed that there's something about this product, at least with coffee, that makes me belch (ugggg!!!), never had that happen with other Organic Stevia Products. Only used it once and I agree that it's not as bitter (my experience if too much Organic White Stevia is used it can be bitter.....fine line) & not as sweet, BUT the jury's out on the green taste mixed with coffee. There's another alternative 'white' Stevia that I just discovered on Amazon (best found by searching 'raw organic stevia' on Amazon) that's not 'processed'. NOT ALL WHITE STEVIA IS PROCESSED &/OR PROCESSED WITH CHEMICALS. The other product is made with reverse Osmosis water & dried naturally.

I recently got a refund on another stevia powder from a great company, but that batch tasted terrible. Just to make sure I wouldn’t be disappointed, I went back to my old favorite, Organic Traditions. Lovely flavor as usual. More expensive than 16 oz. bags from other companies, but reliably good.

My doctor prescribed "Stevia" 5 teaspoons per day as a natural antibiotic. I am currently fighting Lyme Disease & several co-infections. I purchased this, but it wasn't the correct product. This is whole leaf, green stevia & many people use it to naturally sweeten beverages. When I opened the package it looked like a combination of ground up grass & twigs. It did not mix in or dissolve in anything I tried. It also has a very bitter taste. I later learned from my doctor that I should have purchased "Stevia In The Raw" that comes in packets. This stuff was gross. This IS real, organic, natural Stevia. I made the mistake of purchasing the wrong type for my needs. I don't know how people use this or tolerate the bitter taste.

I use this stevia for coffee and tea. The taste of coffee or tea will change slightly or a lot depending on how much stevia is added. It adds a 'green' taste I like and is sweet. It's not sweet enough for me since I like really sweet and I add coconut sugar or other sweeteners I have on hand. Combinations keeps the coffee or tea from being overpowered by the taste of one or the other sweeteners. Because of the cost I limit it's use to coffee or tea otherwise I would use it in foods as well.

Good sweet taste. I only need a small amount to sweeten a smoothie or coffee/mocha drink

Very bitter aftertaste. From what I understand, that's normal for natural stevia. We weren't able to use it, just too bitter for us personally.

Mildly sweet. This was half the cost of the KAL version that I normally buy, but I have to use at least twice as much to get it close to the sweetness I desire. This order was shipped from Canada, and I got it in just over 2 weeks from order date.

I am a user of Stevia, however I guess I was not prepared for the green colour that ends up floating on top of my favourite beverages. If green floaters don't put you off then this is for you..

Good quality unprocessed stevia but difficult to dissolve in any drink. It is very green! Not what I am used to. I wouldn't buy it again but if you are into stevia that is as close to its natural form as possible, this is for you.

Yes, it is stevia powder, with a lot of white dust like component. The description seems to imply that it is green leaf grounding, but it is not. I have tried the real stevia grounded up leafs, and this is nothing like it, and is barely sweet.

My husband is using this every day. Our only issue with it is that there would be a sludge at the bottom of the cup that we didn't expect. We started using a one cup coffee filter to filter it and it works like a charm! Arrived promptly and sweetens as it should.

It is sweet, but it has no good aroma; not good for coffee takes away all the aroma of my coffee and stevia powder gives a lot of sediment. At least for me is not what I expected
