It's ok. In cold climate it does sweat if used for fresh air intake, so additional insulation is needed. Have seen reviews that access screws plastic breaks and it turns around without turning the screw. Got that just replacing my first filter.

had this for a few years now and I experienced a number of problemswith the quality and craftsmanship that led me to come back and edit this review, for example the two screws to open it attach to a riveted nut built into the case but now I can no longer unscrew them because the nut turns as you turn the screw, it is no longer held firmly in place. When replacing filters you will also notice it is never a perfect sealed fit no matter what filter you use because there are screw heads sticking out into the groove where the filter goes. i think this gets good reviewsonly because others were happy about getting a good price, but its not a great case

Great unit, purchased to complement a Fantech HRV. The stock filter in the HRV is small and not a common size. With this inline filter box I can use a larger (20x20x1) standard filter and have many options. Very easy to install and to service. Highly recommended.

Quality build. No mounting hooks. Removal of cover takes time, no clip holders, just nuts.
