Makes Giving Medication So Much Easier
These Pill Pockets have made giving my cat his medication so much easier. I just place the pill inside, pinch the pocket closed, and give it to him like a treat. He usually takes it without any trouble, which saves us from having to struggle with getting the pill directly into his mouth. The soft texture makes them easy to work with, and the chicken flavor seems to be appealing to my cat. Theyโve made medication time much less stressful for both of us. The only downside is that a particularly picky cat may figure out thereโs a pill inside, but theyโve worked really well for us. Overall, Iโm very happy with these and will continue using them for medication time.

Miracle!
I never write reviews, but these little things are a miracle! I have a cat that I love, but he is anxious and we were dealing with some behavior issues for years so I decided to put him on prozac. I couldn't get him to take it in wet food. After some research, I found these! He loves them. He swallows the treat whole and begs for another. I've only tried the chicken flavor. He loves taking his pill! 100% recommend trying.

Indispensable product for when your cat is smarter than you are.
I can now admit my long-held suspicion that my cat is smarter than I am. There is no other explanation for how a fuzzy 16 pound feline fireball manages to keep outwitting me to spit out his meds. This is a power struggle in our household which has been going on for years. Smarty Pants doesnโt care that the medication is keeping his small body functioning. He just believes that I am a bigger, dumber cat with thumbs who opens the food for him & gives him treats, and for some mysterious reason is sneaking the hateful pills into every possible food he eats. My desperate attempts to keep my beast alive has turned him into the most rigorous Food Inspector known to Cat Kingdom. It has damaged our formerly cordial relationship to the point that he greets every interaction with suspicion and spends most of his free time giving me side-eye. Spends the rest of his free time snuggling all of the other humans in our home; everyone except The Pill Giver. Hurtful. It was at a particularly low point during the dreaded med administration that I discovered these pill pockets. I thought for sure the Fur Genius would be wise to my wiles; however, luckily for me, he is a treat hog. These fantastic little pockets look and smell like treats; theyโre easy to chew and the flavors are very appealing. Weโve tried both the salmon and the chicken, and the chicken is more popular with our guy. There are 45 in each pouch, and theyโre very moldable around the pills, making them surprisingly durable if you mess one up somehow. Theyโre also super convenient. I can slip our catโs pill right in the middle of the pocket, pinch the ends, and away we go. If the pill is too large to hide it in one pill pocket, we just use a pill splitter to cut the pill in half and give him 2 pill pockets. Hey, presto! Two treats! Because it looks and operates like a treat, Captain Suspicious is none the wiser. He just eats it whole; it tastes so good to him that he doesnโt dissect it to see if thereโs something hiding in there. For that, I am eternally thankful. Our vet likes them, too, and supports our subterfuge to get the necessary pills into our kitty. We will keep buying them as long as we need them. Magnificent product. Thank you!

Good product; loved by my cat; don't use too many as a treat only!
I wouldn't use these as simpIy a treat. I bought these in prep for pilling my cat who has cancer and has been throwing up daily, but her symptom has gone away with a non-pill product. She has lost half her weight and is now maintaining 5 lbs. I gave 4 as a treat to train her too accept ointment applied to the inside of her ear. I gave her four, a few days in a row. Mistake: vomited and didn't make it to the litter box in time and pooped a loose stool on the floor. It may have been the oil in the product. Anyway, try them! My cat loved them! I now give her a tiny piece (1/4 inch in diameter) as a reward after ointment treatment. She does't really need it because she doesn't resist treatment, but I just like to treat her. I would try one at first, then increase if you want. Maybe it wouldn't have the same symptoms. Anyway, Camille loved them.

Cat loved it!
First time using this. I was surprised how fast my cat ate this up after I put get pill inside it! Before, I would put the pill inside wet cat food, but it gets expensive giving wet food to three cats. Now, I give the other two regular treats while I give the other cat this with the pill inside. Highly recommend..

True Life Saver - I Cried
Listen... my cat is SMART. For example she likes to try to escape the house so we put a bell on her & she learned to walk without it making any noise so she could still get out. She will not take a pill. I tried for an hour & she would cheek it no matter how many tricks I used. I tried hiding it in wet food - nope. Hid it in Churu - also nope. She'd eat around anything I put it in & leave the pill. I was 100% certain that it was absolutely foolish to even try these pill pockets - she'd just eat the treat & not take the meds. Ordered them anyway because $10 for 3.5 months worth is too good a value not to at least attempt. So the next day they come in & I go to her with my bitten/scratched up hands from the previous day's debacle... eats the entire thing in less than 2 seconds & meows at me because she wants another. I cried because I was so relieved - if you know the struggle then you know exactly what I mean. She even tried to break into the bag for more in the wee hours of the morning whilst everyone slept. These things are a miracle! Are they a little oily & smelly? Yes. Are they healthy for my cat? I honestly have no idea. Did they arrive a little smushed & maybe not all entirely usable without some manipulation? Absolutely. But they are a complete lifesaver for my sanity and for my kitty's actual life. As an aside - they are super soft & moldable. Her pill is a little longer than the actual pill pocket itself so I just smush it around until it is covered. Even the broken/squished pockets can be mushed together & still work. I also considered breaking the pill in half (check with the vet first) and giving it to her in two different pill pockets if I needed to hide it better, but for her it worked with one.

Purr-spectives on FELINE GREENIES PILL POCKETS: A Love/Hate Treat Tale for Cats
I unveiled a pack of FELINE GREENIES PILL POCKETS for Cats, all-natural tender cat treats in chicken flavor, and my trio of cats eagerly consumed them. My expectations were high for these pill pockets as a functional solution to administer medication to my feline companions. However, the experience was a combination of good and bad outcomes. Despite my diligent attempts to make the pill pockets appealing, my trio of felines exhibited a minimal interest in these delicacies. Their tolerance for them was limited to instances when there was no concealed pill, as their enthusiasm rapidly dissipated. Adding insult to injury, one of my cats actually threw up after ingesting a pill pocket, resulting in significant distress for both of us. I argue these pill pockets might be more potent for particular felines. The Greenies bag sparked a genuine sense of curiosity in my cats from the start. Regrettably, their enthusiasm waned immediately upon tasting the pill pockets. I suspect the pill pockets' soft texture was a clear departure from the tougher Greenies treats they are used to, which appeared to confuse them. I must applaud the notion behind FELINE GREENIES PILL POCKETS, as they offer a hassle-free approach to give medication to felines. Despite my cats' varying reactions, I would endorse them to fellow cat owners, albeit with a cautionary note. These pill pockets may prove useful for certain cats, particularly those with less discerning taste buds. However, it's important to realize that the result can be unpredictable. While seeking an alternative method that would be more effective for my cat, I stumbled upon an alternative approach. I got a pill crusher from Amazon, enabling me to crush the medication into a fine powder. Subsequently, I mix the powdered medication with a diminutive portion of Science Diet food, almost the same width as a pinky finger. I have found this technique to be more efficient for medicating my cat than pill pockets. Ultimately, the FELINE GREENIES PILL POCKETS for Cats has both advantages and disadvantages. Despite being effective for a few cats, my trio of feline buddies didn't react positively to them. I experience both affection and animosity towards these pill pockets. Should you opt to try them out, I recommend testing various methods to determine the optimal approach for your feline. The individuality of each feline friend causes the identification of a personalized, efficient, and comfortable way to give medication.

Great money-saving option for dogs taking tiny pills
My dog recently started needing a very small pill twice a day long-term. I had always kept the large dog Pill Pockets around for her monthly flea/tick medication and the occasional medication, but suddenly using two every single day made me realize how quickly I was going through themโand how expensive that was going to get! She's easy to give medication to, but if she'll happily eat a pill hidden in food, I'd much rather do that than manually pill her twice a day. Then I noticed the cat Pill Pockets. They're smaller, you get more in a bag, and they cost less compared to dog ones. Turns out they're perfect for her tiny tablets. For small dog pills, these have been great: - Much smaller than the dog Pill Pockets - Perfect amount of material for tiny tablets - More pockets per bag - Less waste than wrapping a tiny pill in a large dog-sized pocket - My dog happily eats them Obviously, these aren't going to fit every dog medication. Larger tablets and capsules will probably still need the dog-sized version. But if your dog takes a tiny pill every day, definitely take a look at the cat Pill Pockets before automatically buying the dog ones. For us, they're a much better value and do exactly the same job!

Absolute Rettung bei Tabletten fรผr unseren Kater!

Work well for fussy cat
My cat is so difficult to give medication to, but these have been an absolute game changer. Simple and effective. Sometimes they are a bit squashed by the time they arrive but they just mould around the tablet, and my cat loves the taste!

The best thing I've bought for my cat!
This is the best thingnive ever bought for my cat. Ginger is a finicky eater and extremely sensitive to meds. I've always struggled to give Ginger her meds, but this Greenies Pill pockets have been a God send. The pill pockets are soft and mouldable so it is very easy to hide a tablet in it. If the tablet is too big, I wither break it into 2 or I use 2 of these pill pockets. They are soft and so very easy to mesh 2 together and then stuff the tablet in it. Ginger gobbles it down in flash! Wish I had discovered this much earlier!
