A nice bit of kit
I was looking for a dust bug to remove dust from my records when playing on my Pro-ject Debut Carbon DC. I was looking for a similar dust bug to what was used in the 1970's. This is a lot more money, but it is very nicely made and feels a really sturdy bit of kit. It tracks the record well and removes the dust before the stylus hits it. The only down point is that you cannot close the turntable lid when using as it is too tall and touches the top. I play with the lid open and it causes no problems, you could remove the turntable lid when using it. This is a quality bit of kit which works well and is a pleasure to use.

Works perfectly and looks great. However.....
I bought this to replace my 40 year old "Dust Bug" when I noticed that the bristles were dropping out. Having looked at cheaper options and read reviews I decided on this model, mainly because it has a built-in rest to save me having to store the arm at the side of the turntable. The brush looks good in satin black finish and is made of metal so will be durable. When it arrives the only assembly required is to attach the spindle to the base with the grub screw using the Allen key provided. There is no adjustment. The arm sits on the spindle and is balanced by the brush at one end and a counterweight at the other. Placed on the vinyl it tracks perfectly and removes any tiny particles missed by washing to greatly improve sound quality. This product is fantastic for cleaning and I would recommend it for its cleaning properties. There is, however, one drawback with this product: its size. The spindle is 50 mm across at the base and 65 mm high without the arm on. It weighs 350g, which means it is very stable but needs a solid surface for mounting. I use it with a Transcriptors Skeleton turntable and whilst I play records with the lid open, the lid will not shut with the cleaner in situ. I have to remove it and store it at the side of the turntable, which negates the need for the arm rest.As already stated it does a great cleaning job but consider its size for your turntable.

Excellent quality. No adjustments or setup; easy to use.
The media could not be loaded. Working perfect! I just put it on my turntable, and it starts working immediately. No adjustments or setup; easy to use. The product is of excellent quality. It's not cheap, but it's worth the money. I am happy to provide you with some advice on how to use it properly. First, put brash on the LP and then switch on the turntable.

All that glitters is ..........
I replaced my old 40-year-old cleaning arm with this for ergonomic reasons as this arm looks so elegant and my old one looks ugly. However, no matter what I have done in moving its position, it just skates over the vinyl disc rendering it ineffective at proper cleaning despite a very high price tag: it simply will not track properly. There are no controls on it to affect its balance and accuracy unlike my old arm that can be fine-tuned. So, it may look good but it’s useless and I have reverted to my ugly but effective arm that actually delivers the goods. All that glitters……

Quality doesn't match price
The item works ok, though tracks quickly. The built quality isn't brilliant. After a week, I accidentally knocked it on to the floor (a couple of feet) and the weight fell off. It was my clumsy fault and I repaired it OK with super-glue, but at this price I would have expected it to have been constructed to be more robust that it is

Works perfectly - Back in LOVE with my Vinyl Record Collection.
I was sceptical and baulked at the price of this item, however, having listened to my vinyl whilst using the brush (and for info, it tracks the vinyl grooves all across the record brilliantly), this item is well worth it's weight in gold. Do NOT expect a perfect listening experience as some dust will be deeply engrained into your vinyl, but the crackles are minimal. I love vinyl ... I love my vinyl and now I love my vinyl even more since getting this brush. The brush lies lightly on your vinyl and sweeps up the dust in the grooves, you can physically see the dust on the end of the bristles when you take it off your vinyl, all you do is run your fingers through the bristles or wipe on a dust rag and your good to go again. Brilliant item, would recommend to any Audiophile.

project record broom
I have just recently purchased project record broom it came fromproject [Henley] andelivery was very quick . this is the record I have used and ive had a lot over 50 yecord you know what happens with the cheaper ones they tend to shoot across the recotd or not move at all . this particular broom is not a problem ? ithought it wasn't moving but as I looked at it and realise it was movining at just right speed to stay just in front of the cartridge I have neverseen that before it is a brilliant design . yes it is expensive but if you can afford it or save up for it you will not be disappointed.it takes even the tiniest particles phil

Not suitable for all turntables
This is a very solidly made item, and is now doing a good job for my vinyl discs. However buyers should know that it won't fit on all turntables as supplied. The pillar is 6 cm high and will foul many lids; the arm is about 4 cm above the disc in my system, but luckily I have a high lid. The pillar is designed to rest in a heavy metal ring 5 cm in diameter, so needs quite a lot of space on either a front or back corner of a flat plinth to work as intended. My classic Thorens does not suit it at all - I had to make a hardwood bracket and drill a 2 cm hole in it for the pillar. So I feel proud of my ingenuity and craft skills, but others should beware.
