Yeahmart Thick Velvet Sofa Cover, 1 Seater Armchair Slipcover, Brown

I’m writing this review to help others! This was a 3 seater cream sofa cover - I’m REALLY pleased. Lovely velvety feel, thick enough to feel like quality but not too thick to not follow the contours of the sofa. When I measured my sofa, it turned out to be 10cm narrower than most of the measurements which is perfect to allow some give. The material is super stretchy anyway, so there’s lots of wiggle room. The edges of the material (as well as the material itself) are all elasticated and fit nicely around the bottom of my sofa so it doesn’t ping off. When the package comes it’s disconcerting as it’s all vacuum packed and small, however it folds out lovely. There’s creases all over but as it’s cream it’s less visible than others I imagine, and with a 30°C wash as label says I’m sure more would come out. A perfect idea if your sofa needs a makeover or to increase comfort. Thank you seller!

My biggest complaint about this item is the fact that despite advertising being able to purchase a 4 seater there is no option against any colour selection. Firstly I ordered 2 silver covers in the biggest size - 3 seater. I have an L shaped settee so did measure as well as we could. Upon opening the packaging the silver had a brown hue to it. Once I put it against my grey carpet it looked even more brown. Not good - back it went. So then I reordered 2 x 3 seaters in grey. Although darker than I initially hoped for, it is a better match for me than a brown-grey. Sadly however upon fitting it appears that the 3 seater is still not big enough for one side. Luckily because the settee breaks down into 3 sections, I have the option to buy 2 seater sizes and cover the other section in 2 separate sections. Not ideal but at this point my choices are this or sending the whole lot back. Given I’ve spent the last 3 years with super king-sized fleece blankets as covers, I was hopeful for something that looks more the part than blankets. Once the 2 seater size gets here I will see how it fits and either keep the 3 seater and tuck in the excess or send the 3 seater back and order another 2 seater. Really the measurements for this item is not accurate but I can’t criticise the returns - I sent the item back on Thursday evening and had a refund in under 48 hours which included bank holiday Friday, and my new covers delivered Tuesday which also included a bank holiday Monday. Hence why I’ll keep swapping these about until I get the right combination. The instructions on the description leave something to be desired. There are mentions of loops and hooks yet I have no idea what these refer to as there is nothing on the cover that even resembles this. The item has an elasticated trim & some long ties. There is a label on one size which indicates which size is to be fitted to the rear of the settee and then you need to tip your settee/chair up and use the ties to secure it in place. Also, I note that there’s mentions of foam inserts to keep the cover in place. On all 3 of the covers, I’ve opened the foam was vac packed into a shape that looks like a thick piece of paper. I don’t see what use that is for tucking in between the cushions to keep the cover in place as there was nothing left of it after packaging and even a few hours later there was no change in shape of the lump of foam. I must be missing something if I’m supposed to somehow be able to use this as a tool to secure the cover. As for the actual cover itself, it’s soft and looks good on but for me, the shape is a bit off as my settee is not a regular shape, so it doesn’t fit the same as it would on a normal shaped one with arms etc. But I can forgive that as the only way I’d get a good fit it to pay someone to make me a custom cover which would cost considerably more. I would recommend these as a cheap alternative to buying a new settee. We had bought a new settee and wanted to keep it in good condition for as long as possible so our covers are preventative rather than disguising an old settee. If you are toying with this item I would recommend you give it a go as the returns process was simple and quick which was such a relief when it came to swapping for another colour/size. First picture shows the initial silver grey - depending on your monitor it may look silver (this is what caught me out) but it has a brown tone to it. Second picture is the white ties which some people were asking about. You want to tip the chair up & pull these out so you can tie them to secure the cover in place & stop it moving. Third pic shows how I pulled the cover in to make it snug & simply tied it in place with some bows Fourth pic is the newest cover fitted. Note straight out the bag it looks creased, but when you compare it to the seat next to it (also pic 5) you can see after a day or so the creases disappeared. Fifth pic is of the 3 seater which as you can see has now dropped all creases & looks fine. It is a dark, almost blue-grey. Far better than the silver in my opinion.

We've just moved house & instead of changing the sofa bed, the cheapest option was to cover it. I tried another brand before this one & it was an epic fail! Bought a double but was no where near big enough so back it went. This cover has worked perfectly! I did buy the 3 seater option to give more fabric to tuck in & it paid off. After reading some reviews that said it didn't stay in place & didn't tuck properly I figure buying the next size up would help-better to have a bit more fabric than not enough. I've managed to tuck it all in & even after it has been sat on it doesn't move which is perfect, no need to keep straightening it out! I didn't use the tie straps as there is no way I can tip or move the sofa in a way to get them under & tied but found with the elastic held on fine so just tucked the straps underneath. It's a lovely soft material, very stretchy & the colour looks fine to me, just as expected. Even against a wishy-washy wall(painting in progress & excuse the clutter) it looks light grey with no brownish tone. Yes it is very creased when it comes out of the vacuum packed packet but they are smoothing out just fine. Also included 1 matching grey cushion cover. I don't often write reviews but I'm really pleased with this purchase & it's worth the write up!

I bought the 3 seater cover for my cream leather sofa that was starting to look worn down. I'm using the cover as a temporary fix and it stretched out onto the sofa quite well. Only issue is the bars that go down the sofa to pull the fabric in place don't stay down when you sit they pop out. So I just placed my cushions along the sofa and it looks okay without having to use the bars to weight the stretched out cover. I bought the brown colour. Actually needed a dark chocolate colour but it'll have to do for now. I also bought the 2 seater cover but still waiting for delivery on that. Not sure why they couldn't pack it into the same packaging as the 3 seater. I also received 1 cushion cover but not sure why only one comes with it there should be 2?! I think the cost is expensive for what I got. Should be cheaper. Also as the packaging it came in was vacuum packed the cover came out crinkled I wanted to iron it out before putting it on but the material is velvet and it would've ruined it so I put the cover on as it came out and with it stretched over the sofa the creases just disappeared anyway. I'm giving it a 3 star because the bars that came with it was of no use they were too small and thin like they were knitting needles?! And as still waiting on the 2 seater cover which expected in a separate parcel later today. Quality of the cover is okay should last long.

I have two old leather sofas that aren't the nicest looking sofas, and had been covering them with throws to overcome their appearance and coldness etc. If anyone has tried this, you'll know it gets to a point where you don't want to sit on your sofa once you've neatened the throws because it's a task to tidy it up again. We were sick of having to constantly out the throws back in place, so I took a chance and invested in these. I was skeptical at first because some had commented on the fit etc but these were perfect! They are so soft and genuinely made my sofas look brand new! They stay in place much better than my old throws, and I don't mind the off occasion I have to out everything back. My only criticisms would be that 1) they're a little on the pricey side, but deffo better than buying a new sofa and 2) the noodles that come with them are very light and don't really hold perfectly unless you tuck them really far into the sofa. I think perhaps it would be better to use a heavier material for them. I might see if I can invest in some small wooden poles or even metal/plastic type ones just to make the overall finish of the sofa last longer. Otherwise they're great and we have had many compliments on them.

Ok so lets start with a positive - They are soft and comfy to sit on and they stretch enough to cover the seating and thats where the positive ends. The negative - Cheaply made, there are suposed to be 4 tie strings but on one set we only had 3 so could only tie one set with a spare tail hanging out and on our other seat two of the tie strings were out of line with each other making it a bit off centre. The seats came with "non slip cables" that are meant to be pushed down the sides of the seating to keep the cover neatly in place....but these were squashed pieces of polystyrene from packaging that after placing them in the seat would jump back out at you the second you sat in the chair allowing the cover to pull out of shape...these in themselves are a fire risk and basically useless and were thrown out.. The covers although cover the seating entirely, never stay in place after you sit on them meaning the have to be tucked into every orifice everytime you get up or.. for those old enough to remember ...they spend their time looking like nora battys stockings from the show last of the summer wine....cheap and awful to look at but ok for a quick stop gap over xmas until we can get out of lockdown and buy new seating, not recommended for an alternative to getting your seats upholstered.

Brilliant, I bought the 4 seater for my Large 3 seater. Took me about 15 minutes to get on because I didn’t quite get it right as first and I get my hair off easily 🤣 but honestly looks great definitely worth it! One thing I will say is the little bars should be maybe abit thicker so they stay in better.

Revision....tore very easily, threw it away.More pinky than purple but really brightens up the room! I bought this so I could wash my klippan black velvet cover. It was big enough, did not fit the arms well, but tucked into the back. I put a few cushions by the arms so you couldn't notice it didn't tuck in. The material is thin but nice and I would think that it will wash well. You get what you pay for and all in all, not a bad sofa cover!

Sinceramente, es mas de lo que esperaba. Realmente es un terciopelo grueso y bonito. Una vez puesto, queda muy bien. Se amolda perfectamente a mi sofá.

Si adatta perfettamente ad ogni forma di divano! È morbido e il colore è quasi lucido. I lacci che ben legati fanno sembrare quasi che non sia un copridivano!

la housse ne s'adapte pas correctement au canapé et son maintien en place est une galère l'article est très satisfaisant mais trop polyvalent

Habe zwei Größen bestellt in der gleichen Farbe einmal 3 Sitzer und 4 Sitzer. Leider sind es zwei unterschiedliche grau Töne! Ansonsten bin ich zufrieden damit, sitzen echt gut.

È già il secondo che compriamo, salva un divano che altrimenti sarebbe stato da buttare! I gatti si tengono alla larga e non lo graffiano più... Ottimo e resistente, le dimensioni sono perfette e copre tutte le parti del divano, fino ai piedi. Unica nota dolente è che i fermi da applicare nelle pieghe arrivano puntualmente schiacciati dal sottovuoto e sono inutilizzabili, tanto che abbiamo dovuto tagliare un manico di scopa e adattarlo per lo scopo... Peccato, sarebbe stato davvero perfetto!
