The simplicity of the experiments coupled with the impact that they have in explaining different phenomenon is incredible! Excellent Book for Basic Experiments
I was so excited to receive this book. It has great experiments that teach kids about different aspects of chemistry. Everything is clearly laid out and a general time frame is given so that it is possible to choose the right activity for the situation. They have practical experiments that really are mind boggling in a way like making photosensitive paper, negatives, and then using the two together to create a picture. The simplicity of the experiments coupled with the impact that they have in explaining different phenomenon is incredible! Definitely would recommend this book for people wanting to do experiments with anyone from elementary school through college.

Great home chemistry book.
Anyone interested in chemistry - this book is a good book to start with. It give many ideas to start your own home chemistry hobby.

Very nicely written and easy to follow.

You can't do the experiments at home as they require the proper gear... lab type stuff. You won't have the necessary gear nor chemicals laying around the average home. I would suggest this book is more for a teacher in a classroom environment.
