Vehicle: 2005 Dodge Dakota SLTThe Good: This is the only unit that fits so perfectly into my factory dash. Its a 2 piece GPS unit which is a step up from the multiple pieces other in dash units require. The shipping was incredible, from China to San Diego in days.The Bad: The fit was tight, and it scraped a little bit of plastic off the housing. The unit barely had enough clearance, but now is snuggly in place. The installation instructions amount to asking you to find a professional. To get the GPS to work, you have to first put in the provided Memory card. Then go to settings, NaviSystem. Click on the [][]08, then double click on the exec. Now you can click on the GPS which is farely accurate. You can probably replace the map files in the future as well. I didn't know this when I finished what was a rather straight forward installation as everything was provided. The way the power works is also a bit tricky. I am worried if I forget to turn off the unit when I turn off my car, I will have a drained battery when I get back in. The unit does not turn off on its own.The Ugly: The iPod connector plug is angled in the wrong direction. My vehicle has a bottom support piece that makes placing the plug into the unit impossible withough first pushing the unit into place. In order to attach the plug into the unit, I had to first push the unit into place. Then I had to push the plug into the back of the unit by squezing it through crevices. It was difficult making sure it was securely in place.Overrall, know what you are getting into if you buy this unit. It will look good, like REAL GOOD if your vehicle has this type of dash. However, you will probably need a professional to install it for you, and its expensive. It also has quarks with its dual band audio, menu items, and on/off switch. Personally, I don't know why you would want an on/off switch in a vehicle electronic. There is already the ignition.

Very nice unit. It is aesthetically and ergonomically pleasing to look at and to touch. I was looking for a radio that did not look like it belonged in an episode of Star Trek and that did not have moving screens and all sorts of other things I don't need. I was in the market for a conservative radio that had the functions (iPod control, Navigation, ect) but looked like a factory radio. My vehicle did not come with anything like that. This absolutely fit the bill for what I was looking for. If you are in the market for something similar you will not be disappointed.I would love to review the functionality but I never actually turned it on.I went to Best Buy to have it installed. If it helps any, the installation technician stated that he installs tons of these particular brands of radio sets for dealers and also for private citizens. His reviews were great and I felt a lot better about the purchase price when he stated that.The unit that I need to fit my truck (2003 Dodge Dakota) is QL -JEP816.Hope this helps

I received the unit within days after ordering packed very well, installed it the very next day all functions work great as advertised. Upon completion of the installed I noticed after unwrapping the remote their was no battery, the manual does not indicate what battery is to be used. All in all it's a great system giving my Jeep a factory look for what I was after I highly recommend this unit. After owning this product just a little over a week it has shown to be unreliable compared to other head units of this nature that I have installed, especially the backup camera input seems to loose video sync, it sometimes a blank screen or vertical lines no video. I have a 2GB I pod hooked up as well the head unit does not notice the I pod, the GPS is the only half decent thing about this whole unit

I installed the unit in a Chrysler 300 Base. It was a simple plug and play (which was nice). I was impressed that all the functions of the unit worked with the car's wrirng. However the manual isn't very detailed when it comes to the gps operation. PRO'S: Rear Cam, Ports for more monitors, IPOD,and USB. CONS: Bluetooth could be a little better, sound quality is not that great but it gets the job done. Overall: it's 07 technology at it's best. I am happy with this unit.

Sinceramente per questa cifra mi aspettavo qualcosa di molto meglio. E' vero che il montaggio è facile e si integra con il sistema ma è anche vero che mi ha dato molto fastidio trovare lingue improbabili nel libretto di uso e manutenzione e nemmeno uno straccio di estensione (anche allegata a questo punto ) in italiano.La luce verde dei tasti non è come quella verde/azzurra della strumentazione jeep ,la grafica molto minimale ,sembra quasi un giocattolo ,navigatore molto impreciso,(almeno quello testato sul prodotto che mi è stato consegnato)A oggi non sono ancora riuscito a capire se è possibile attenuare in qualche modo l'illuminazione dei tasti,(c'è quella del display ma dei tasti ??????) che di notte diventa molto fastidiosa .Nel complesso un prodotto scadente a fronte della cifra richiesta,ci sono apparecchi in commercio da poco più di 100 euro con grafiche e prestazioni sicuramente migliori.Mi sono lasciato tentare dal fatto che fosse compatibile con i comandi al volante senza dover impazzire per adattarne uno ma sono molto pentito dell'acquisto e lo sconsiglio vivamente.
