My husband broke his so I replaced it without him knowing. This came with a lot of instructions which was helpful but would have been nice if it had the instructions to put it back together. I had to reverse the instruction alone with the hope I don't lose track. Pretty proud of myself considering there are a ton of tiny screws and I had a 22 month old jumping around me. It is sturdy and made of metal unlike the original plastic. Be careful with the screws. I read in the reviews before purchasing. The screwdrivers that come with it can strip the screws itself. I used a rubber band to protect when I could if it's not too tiny

It’s not rocket science. It has a steel hinge replacement part along with the kickstand as shown in the picture. The instructions are photos, pretty straight forward. As long as you unscrew carefully and keep your screw sizes separate while following the steps then you’ll be fine.I replaced my sons kickstand in about 15 min carefully. Mom of the year here.It’s pretty strong. As for the other reviews - use common sense. This isn’t indestructible - tell your kid to not be so hard on it.Overall - great replacement product and tools. I’ll order again to replace our other switch’s kickstand too.

found that it has a different (watch style) connector that holds the kickstand permanently in place, works well like that but kickstand itself was garbage. it can be used with old style original or replacement kickstands but due to the metal "latch" it may unhinge itself while unfolding it.even with that said, the quality is much better, it wont get damaged as quickly, and my kickstand doesn't just dangle there like a loose turd anymore.

Sure, it feels a little flimsy at first, and when you pop it in and out of it’s slot on the switch it can feel a little off, but if you lost the old kickstand and need one for an emergency one, or you want a replacement for the stock kickstand, this is a great option.

I brought this product a few weeks ago and installed it on the back of my switch it fits perfectly I see a lot of reviews on the tools it comes with to remove the screws, all you have to do is apply a little force to it in order to remove the screws. Other than that it’s a great buy!

Not as good as the original one but just won't fall off. The hinge seems better. The screw drivers were great.

Was simple enough. Just needs a instruction manual for some. There’s only certain screws that you need to take out to be able to get to the inside of the panel to install the new kickstand.

Works as stated. Took about 20 minutes to replace the switch’s kickstand. Just keep track of which screws go where and you should be all set.
