Not bad
Weirdly they work better with the wire up than down. But pretty good for the price. Also, no documentation on how to convert from NO to NC

They're holding up so far.
I have an effluent tank that pumps up hill to my septic field and I wanted a way of measuring the level in the tank. I already track the pump on and off time and with a few datapoints on the level I can really tell how well the system is working.Do I really need it? Who knows, but I like doing little projects like this and analyzing the data...What I do know is that an effluent tank is a NASTY environment and is very hard on so many different types of material. I don't know what these are made of but they've been working great for about 6 weeks now. I have a level gauge in my basement so I can always tell where the tank level is, a second alarm so I get a pre-warning and it all datalogs to a server so I can remove view it.I chose these because they seemed simple and were sealed. I use them with an ESP32 and they are normally open, close when the float raises up. I installed them threaded side down, but I believe you can remove the clip and flip the magnet to reverse the open and closed position. It's a magnetic switch so it should last a long time.

Returned, would not buy again
Disappointing. First off these are about 1/2 to 3/4 of the 'normal size not an issue itself, just an FYI. After that the real issue is that the magnet which is inside the float and triggers the switch is not fully encapsulated in the plastic float. The magnet is exposed. This could be an issue if you plan to use them in for example an aquarium like me. No I do not want this unknown metal magnet in contact with my aquarium water. If the floats were better made these could be worth buying, but they are not, so skip it. Better off paying $20 each for the real ones which also happen to be USA made.

They work great!
The media could not be loaded. These float sensors work great, it's nice that they come with rubber O-rings, and they will work very well for my project.

Don't put much current through them
Found that they seem to work ok if extremely little current goes through them. Put too much through them and they stop working reliably. Did not experiment to find the current limit.

They work fine, metal shows
These work good. I originally purchased these for my reef tank to create an ATO but seeing that there is exposed metal on the inside, I don’t know if I will use it for that.
