My little car had a small valve cover leak from its earliest days, but because it was tiny I ignored it. All of a sudden that leak wasn't small at all, and I had to do something. After buying this gasket I managed to fiddle around until it was too late to do the work myself in the driveway, so I hired a mechanic to install the gasket. I figured he had botched the job, for the leak was at least as bad when I got the car back. Because I had supplied the gasket, I guessed he would use that as an excuse to duck responsibility. So I ordered a second one, and started planning how to do a winter installation. At this point something (don't remember what it was) alerted me to check the torque on the bolts. THAT was the problem, and properly tightening them fixed the problem. So now I have a non-leaking/non stinking car and an extra valve cover gasket for it. You can bet I won't be using that careless mechanic again, despite his sterling local reputation.

Good quality, took a bit of effort to figure out how to.keep it in place but good fit.

Had an 2007 aveo 5. Sister complained she smelled a burning. I had it installed in about 20 minutes and 20 to get it back together, except i have a heavy automotive backround. You should garentee 4 hours for the repair. Simple socket set and a few prytools is all i recall using.
