In addition, the illustrations are really captivating and vivid. It's a great book that children will definitely enjoy.

As a primary school teacher, it is always difficult to find a good children's book that catches kids' attention and keeps them entertained and engaged until the end. In fact, many parents struggle to supply their children with high-quality educational reading material. So, when I read the description of this book, I knew that I had a gem of its type. “The Belly Button Book” by Mark Bacera is a well-written and charming piece of writing full of lovely illustrations that captivate kids as soon as they open it. This second book in the series is sure to entrance many young readers. In this story, Dr. Belly Brian uses Brian, Betty, Billy and Beverly’s belly to show different animals that start with the letter B. It is ideal to practice different words.To conclude, I think that this book will really appeal to young children. I highly recommend it and that's why I am giving it five deserved stars.

The book is short and intended for children, but it can be truly wacky for the small ones. I do think this is an entertaining story that can be enjoyed by any kid who is not too sensitive. And let’s face it: most children who are 6 or 7 years old love to talk and see gross things. I think the story is well-written, it sparks curiosity and talks about things in a funny – even if repetitive way. The illustration is a little weird for my taste: I would have preferred a happier tone in them, to match the writing style, but it’s nothing that takes away from the story. Overall, it’s a different story for your overall children, but I’m sure they’ll laugh reading about belly buttons.

Mark Bacera is the author of the children's book titled “The Belly Button Book”, with which kids can learn - and laugh- a lot about their own bodies.This book is perfect for curious kids that are growing up and are asking questions about their own bodies, and the bodies of their friends.The writer plays with the sound B to make the book appropriate and catchy for the little ones.My nephews had a blast while reading this book with me, we spent quality time together, we learnt, we laughed and we discovered! I believe that they will recall this precious time forever.I personally enjoyed the drawings, colours and cartoons that accompany the text. I really think the author is very clever when he plays upon words. I believe Bacera knows how to attract his audience and I will definitely buy the following books of the series.

I couldn't resist getting this book. It is just so iconic. How can I not read the belly button book?! Very good idea for a hit kid's book I think.Part of the book is silly and funny, I enjoyed the jokes and sense of humor. The other part simply explains what the belly button is. It is a nice and entertaining book with cool and clear illustrations. Fun to read with your kid.
