Beautiful plant
Let me start with the easy part. My postal worker had shoved the box into my mailbox. The box was crushed, and hard to get out of my mailbox. So here's where the good stuff comes in, as the plant as you can see is in really decent shape. There were plenty of pieces of material to buffer the plant from being squished, and the plant was still moist when I got it. The ball of soil that came with it was pretty decent and mixed in with the soil I used to pot it.I have six large leaves with about five or six baby leaves about to bloom. I don't think I could have bought a plant of this size for this cost at any nursery around me. I had actually looked at another one a few days before, and it was in the 40 to $50 range.I've only had this for one night, but I'm hoping that will do well. So far it's looking pretty good.

Great purchase
I was skeptical of this less than $10 cutting of adansonii, but really shouldn't have been! I was expecting a small cutting like described, maybe one node with a good sized leaf and a couple smaller leaves. Or maybe something that wasn't even an adansonii. I received several small cuttings, with 13 leaves total. Only one had holes, but still a great start! There was some yellowing on the big leaf, and two of the cuttings were starting to rot, but I'm pretty confident they will grow fine. I just cut the rot off, the nodes were still healthy. One of the tinier leaves did fall off after yellowing. The package had been smashed a bit in transit, but the box was full of packing peanuts and the plant was not harmed. One leaf did look like someone nibbled it, and there were two little grubby guys in the dirt but I washed the whole bundle before planting. The roots were damp and wrapped in newspaper and taped up with plastic. I'm overall very happy with this purchase, and will more than likely order again!

MEALY BUGS IN THE SOIL! ALL MY HOUSEPLANTS ARE NOW DESTROYED
oh my goodness do NOT buy houseplants on amazon. i bought three of these plants over a year ago and at the time i had no idea what mealybugs were. about 3 months after buying them little white spots started to appear on them. fast forward to about 6 months ago i had to throw the plants out because they were so infested and no treatment could fix it. not to mention the mealy bugs spread to all my other houseplants and a year and a half after buying these wretched plants my house is STILL plagued with mealy bugs. these plants ruined about $400 worth of house plants for me. i wish i could give it less than one star because of the damaged to my other plants and the emotional turmoil this has put me through. 3 years of houseplant collecting down the drain because of this company! i am irate. i am untethered and my rage knows no bounds. this is perhaps a perfect gift for someone you hate. these plants are truly a curse

Best plant purchase on Amazon!
This item had been sitting on my wishlist for God knows how long until seller Garley Trade had a sale that I could not resist. I mean I could not give up this pricing! I had to order two because hey why not, I wanted a fuller look without waiting so long and the price helped. They were in great shape when I got them! Big beautiful leaves, absolutely gorgeous plants. Obviously they are very well cared for and the packaging indicated that as well, they were wrapped up, the soil was perfectly moist to keep them happy, and they had packing peanuts to protect them. I just can't say enough good things about these plants and the seller that cared for them. I will enjoy them every day. Each plant has at least 4 to 5 leaves and some new growth stemming out as well! There was an issue with the delivery of my package, it was the courier's fault, not the seller's fault at all, but their response to the issue was almost immediate and so professional! I would buy this plant all over again if I had space for more!

Well-packaged, though one of three cuttings had died
Received these cuttings in a fairly timely manner, with solid packaging. The three leaf cuttings have ample roots, and are packaged in a moist scotch-tape-pyramids of soil. One of the cuttings arrived crisply dry and dead on arrival, but the other two survived the transport, though they were curled up and not in great shape. One leaf was very yellow. Looking at the photos from other buyers, it looks like some people definitely received much better packages than others, so I guess it's a bit of a random draw. I never tried contacting customer service, because I'm anxious like that...but I feel a wee bit ripped off. However, as you can see in the second photo, after two weeks, the other two cuttings are pretty healthy. The leaf that had been yellow, due to probably too much moisture in the soil that it was sent in -- after putting it in a well-drained pot of soil, its color has mostly returned to the same shade of green as the other leaves.Anyway, it's alive! So I will see how it grows in the next few months, and post updates. Looking forward to this baby growing...

Its okay.
I'll preface my review by saying I bought this on sale for $12, if I had paid what other reviewers had, I would probably be upset. Luckily, one of my hobbies is rehabbing plants, so its fine. That being said, this plant has been very difficult to find near me, so I took a chance. It came with more leaves than listed in the ad, but not as big and beautiful as plants others recieved. The two largest leaves were both damaged, one ripped and the other appears to have been munched by a hungry critter. The other leaves were in great shape, and both cuttings had nice roots. It arrived packaged as described by everyone else, damp soil wrapped in newspaper, wrapped in plastic, in a box padded with packing peanuts.Overall, I'm really just pleased to finally have this plant and I'm looking forward to watching it grow.Updated- upgraded to 4 stars. The more I look at it, the more i love it. Its growing new leaves and is lovely.
