GREAT SUCTION POWER! - Apartment though, too much.
GREAT SUCTION POWER, too good for carpet; literally pulled the carpet up off of the floor. - Although it did give my carpet a better than good cleaning, lol. - Gave away. - Probably loud? Used hearing protection. Too big & powerful for apartment living, in my opinion; 20 gallon 6.5 Peak Hp. - Pics are to show size. Positives, used once. - Great suction power. - Hose is nicer than other ones! - Handle with bag, A+! - Back two wheels are really nice. Could, I imagine, take it off road, E.g. building a house & getting vac up there, compared with four casters. - Put together well. Slight negatives, used once; could just be me? - Hose did not go on the hose storage well. - Found that the hose attachments did not stay on very well while vacuuming; unless you shoved them together; then it was hard to get apart.

Damaged box and item three times over
Horrible quality control. All three of these that I purchased were damaged in some shape of form on both the product and box. I’m sure the vacuum works fine but it certainly a disappoint to have a brand new item scratched in several spots and on attachments straight of the box on three separate occasions.

Large and in charge
I own a 100-year-old 4000 square foot house. I needed a big vacuum that I didn't have empty frequently. Something big enough to impress guests and something impressive enough imply that I might have a professional cleaning person. Assembly was pretty easy and I was impressed with the suction power and the cord length. The filter didn't immediately clog up because of the size of the drum. The only negative I've noticed so far is that when an attachment locks onto a loose rug like a limpet creating a vacuum and the motor overspeeds, I can smell it overheating within about 20 seconds. It seems like it requires constant airflow to stay cool. I'm pretty sure I have the largest vacuum in my town now which was my primary objective. I may park it outside my front door during the day to get people talking at the post office.

Awesome vacuum for Garage and Heavy Duty
This blows away any shop vac or other vacuum out there. Best qualities are the large wheels. Other vacuums have these tiny wheels that cause the vacuums to tip over or get stuck. The wheels on this make it easy to move the vacuum everywhere. Excellent suction and a high end hose. Plus you can store everything in the bag on the handles so nothing falls off like other vacuums. Only negative was the installation of the large wheels. You have to use a hammer to tap 2 caps on. It’s really a stupid design and will take a few attempts before it works. Other than that though this thing is perfect.

Underwhelming for the price
This review is for the 20 gallon wheeled model. First impressions are not that great for the price. I know that they always leave a little assembly up to you to save them some labor cost, but I don’t see those savings being passed on to the end user. For $240 and the fact this comes in a huge box, they should just put the wheels and handles on the thing and call it a day. That’s my first gripe. It’s not hard to assemble, but how much are they saving by leaving a few parts off the thing and up to the end user, really? Got the thing assembled in a few easy steps, took me about 15 minutes, and most of that was fidgeting with the back wheels and finding a couple of useful tools to help the process along. Tip: use a socket or something round and hollow that just fits over the “push-nuts”. This will help keep them straight and your fingers out of the way. Put one on the shaft first, followed by the first wheel and then the two legs that attach the whole thing to the vacuum, followed by the last wheel and push nut, assembling the thing off the vac makes it so much easier. Just make sure everything is in-order and turned the right way before putting on that last push nut and adding the assembly to the vacuum. The instructions have you trying to assemble that part on the vacuum, and the axle will push out the opposite side of you trying to hammer on the push nut. You’ll see what I mean… So I got the whole vacuum assembled, bag installed, hose attached and turn it on. First thing I notice is that there is an ear splitting squealing noise. I am normally stone-deaf to high pitch sounds, but this is so loud and piercing, it makes me sick to my stomach. My wife, who has good hearing will probably not be able to use this without hearing protection. It is a shop vacuum, and loud, so probably not the worst idea, but I don’t dig on it sounding like a distress whistle every time I need to clean up the garage. I can tell if it is a bearing, something leaking, or just the corrugated hose whistling, but I have never had a shop vacuum make that kind of noise before unless there was something wrong, like something stuck in the hose. Very irritating for $240. Speaking of the hose. For $240, they give you the “nicer” hose, that is to say a little more flexible and made of something that shouldn’t split the first time you accidentally step on it, but for the price, this is a short hose! It looks kind of funny having this giant shop vacuum, like, enormous, and then a hose that is this small and short. If you want to do a chore that requires some distance away from the vacuum body, just go ahead and order a longer hose or extension. The problem with the extension is going to be having it catching and scratching on your car interior or door sills. So you’ll either be left wanting for a bigger hose, or spending money on top of an already pricey vacuum. Power wise, I think there is a habit with vacuum cleaner manufacturers to inflate the power of their vacuums. A lot can go into why a vacuum is under powered even if it has a monster motor on it. Hose size is a big factor. If compare this vacuum to the name brand 4.5hp shop-vac that I own, it is every bit as powerful as this model, if not more so. Unfortunately they don’t make that model anymore, or else I would have gotten another. In the end, this thing is just too dang big to return. I’ll have to wear hearing protection with it, but I probably should be anyway. For the money, it just doesn’t impress me much.

Gracias

Awesome!
This is absolutely one of the best items I have bought. The suction power is amazing. I bring it in the house to do my hard surface floors and get the job done in half the time. It's also great for carpeted steps. Anything that will cut time cleaning is worth it to me!
