Singer Sewing and Craft Scissors, Red & White (3-Pack)

I love these scissors. This is a good brand and the multipack is such a good value. FINALLY… scissors that CUT.

I bought this identical item in 2008 in a Chicago CVS while on a business trip. I had no expectations of quality -- but the blade was short enough that I could fly home with them. I have used them pretty much every day since. They are still perfect -- no cracks or discoloration in the plastic, the blades are still aligned, no nicks or burrs, no rust -- I've never even had to tighten the screw. The only difference between the old one and the new is in the rivet. The new one looks a little better, but I have no complaints about the 12-year-old one, either.I'm not normally inclined to love plastic and metal things, but I do feel a strong affection for my old Singer scissors, and the new ones don't appear to have been ruined by "efficient" manufacturing, so Yea! These are winners. And, trust me, you won't have any trouble using 6 scissors: Kitchen, bath, closet (for loose threads, etc .) desk, gardening basket, tool box... maybe I need to buy more.

Purchased these because my same set was getting dull. Unfortunately the new ones came in duller than my old set. They will be used to cut paper not cloth
