Ok, helmet but the camera sux and has the same deficiencies of all other Sena cameras
I got my helmet a couple years back. I liked that the system was all built in. The wiring is all part of the helmet and not prone to snagging or wear and tear from being semi exposed. The camera is also built in so trackday orgs don’t ban it the way they do for all other helmet mounted cameras. That alone allowed me to ride rental motorcycles and shoot video I would not have got any other way.The negotives are many. Top of the list is the same problem as most other helmet cams: no image stabilization. There is not getting away from shaky video that can be hard to watch without some significant post processing on the computer. #1 biggest fail.Number 2 complaint is useless audio for any sore of vlog note taking at anything more than 25 mph. Utterly useless. My sena 10c camera is light years better. I think a new gopro hero 12 with bluetooth audio input is the way forward with using helmet ommunicator with a camera. Finally, i retired my helmet after a bike crash at the race track took a fairly good head strike on the pavement. The helmet did its job. The camera still worked but I considered the hit as the no- injury price. Sena no longer sells this helmet. I am not surprised since i don’t think the full retail cost matched the poor feature count. I’m not rushing to replace the damaged helmet with another.Still, I will buy another at close out price if I can find one. I still do an ocassional motorcycle trackday where this will provide the only camera capability I’ll be permitted.. i would say finding one of these at a $325 or-less price point is fair. $700?! I would not look back.
