Zero radio station interference, even on hilltop.
This is at least the 3rd bluetooth FM transmitter I have owned. I spent $26 on this one, well worth it. I tried to save money, bought one from big box store for about $16 last month; it was mostly unusable, had all kinds of interference from radio stations. Plus, it had no option to tune to the very high or low end of the fm dial, like 87.7, away from existing radio stations. 88.3 was lowest you could tune it to. Last year I bought a $30 fm transmitter from Amazon, it worked, but still had occasional interference and some background noise. But, this anker roav smartcharge t1 is light years better than both. Zero interference. Zero background noise. Even on the FM frequency it was on, or it tuned itself to out of the box. I spent zero time looking for the fm frequency with least interference, just plugged into lighter , paired my phone, it worked. The tech here is actually different, improved. Solidly built, sturdy neck. Only thing I can say bad is it not the best sound quality for music, not like a direct plug aux input cable. Sounds like 80s era dolby tape hiss noise reduction is on. My current car radio has no aux in, til I get one, this roav works great for audio book listening and i listen to music with it too.

Outstanding customer experience and one satisfied customer!
I hooked this up today. It was easy to install and pair with my iPhone. Works well and sound quality is good so far. However, when I went to register the product online I only saw a link to their F3 model. Turns out the F3 gives more functionality for the same price as the T1. Not cool ROAV. Most reputable companies give you a link on Amazon to their updated models so the customer can be better informed. Sadly this would make me think twice about buying ROAV again in the future. Sometimes it's not only about the product but the whole customer experience. I tried reaching out to their customer service but all they said was sorry. I guess it's a case of "caveat emptor" when it comes to ROAV. So an otherwise 5-star review becomes a 3-star.UPDATE: 2019-12-19So Roav reached out to me by email to find out about my less than excellent customer experience. They then surprised me by offering to send me the F3 model free of charge. I have to take back what I said about their customer experience. I've been telling everyone I know about this pleasant experience and how they went beyond to satisfy a query. The T1 continues to perform well but I'm looking forward to receiving the F3 and comparing the two. Look out for review. Thanks, Roav, you rock!

Works great... Almost
I love Anker products for their quality, so i expected the same from this Bluetooth adapter. I could connect just fine and set it up in less than 30 seconds. However, it's loose and tends to wobble around in the power outlet! When I'm changing tracks on it, the adapter wobbles and sometimes switches off until I wobble it again to turn on. Looks like it's too loose for the power outlet.I own a Kia Forte 2010 so i thought maybe this is a problem with the size of the port - but i also have an Anker charger that fits perfectly inside the port and doesnt wobble at all. Looks like this adapter has a narrower body.Have done a workaround by taping some pices of paper onto the adapter for padding, and it's now less wobbly and doesn't switch off when i touch it. Wish i didn't have to do that, though.Other than that, the sound quality is incredible.

Great alternative to auxiliary FM transmitter
I bought this product for my 2009 Lexus RX 350, which supports a Bluetooth connection between car and phone only for phone calls, not for playing music. Prior to making this purchase, I had been using a wired auxiliary FM transmitter for roughly three years. The only two complaints I had with the wired unit were a noticeable reduction in sound quality due to radio static and the inability to charge my phone and play music at the same time. This Bluetooth transmitter solves both these problems for me -- there is still a small amount of radio static, but it is largely unnoticeable unless the volume is high and the music itself is very quiet. The ability to charge my phone while playing music is also a great feature. As many other reviews said, the installation process is extremely simple. After unboxing, I had the unit up and running within a minute without having to look at the instruction manual. Overall, this product is exactly what I was looking for and has exceeded my expectations. In my uneducated opinion, this product is top-of-the-line as far as FM transmitters go.

Very strong connection with clear audio steaming.
This transmitter works! Its that simple. The device starts up at 107.7 FM and I haven't needed to take it off that. It connects super fast as soon as the car turns on. The flexible neck offers just enough room adjustment that this should be a good fit for any and all 12v car outlets. The quick charge USB port is a welcome addition, and the carbon fiber like finish is a nice touch. It doesn't feel cheap and flimsy like my last fm transmitter that I am currently returning. The bluetooth connection is strong and offers a nearly crystal clear listening experience. If you get this transmitter you won't be disappointed. It doesn't include an sd card slot for memory sticks, but does anyone really use such a device for storing music? Ok maybe some do, so if this is the case for you, find another bluetooth FM transmitter. I'm very pleased, but then again, I'm not surprised, after all, it is an Anker product.

High pitched static noise
Product works pretty well, plays music to the channel you want. The only thing that I have an issue with is there is a high pitched noise no matter what frequency I broadcast to (I even took my antenna out and tried a bunch of frequencies). I don't know if other people have this issue or if it is just a product defect. Other than that it works pretty well, calling people and receiving calls is great!
