Caffeine Free Diet Coke Soda Syrup Concentrate SodaStream BIB Bag In Box (2.5 gallon)

I use to be a SodaStream Caffeine Free Diet soda drinker, for several years. When it started to become impossible to find, this is what I found as a replacement. I've been using this bulk buy for over 6 months and I can't tell the differences! For those concerned about "expiration dates" I say get over it.I've kept records based on the fact that I do have to use twice as much syrup to get the same results, and considering how much the SodaStream concentrates are being sold for now, and have found this is a much better deal, about half priced.The syrup is not watered down, it's just how Coke sells it. Primarily meant to be sold to commercial venues.I'm just glad to have this alternative, otherwise I would have to give up my SodaStream altogether. And if you think about it, this is reducing waste even more! No more pint plastic bottles, just that plastic bladder. Reuse the tap and recycle the cardboard box.

I buy from Amazon all the time and am generally pleased with my purchases. However, I am very disappointed with this purchase. The Coke syrup that I bought is stale and almost seems watered down, as I have to use a lot more of it to get the flavor that I normally would using a Sodastream product. After I opened the box to dispense the syrup, I noticed that it has an expiration date of November 2015! So...I'm supposed to in one month use up a product that would normally take me several months to use. I normally buy Sodastream syrups, but this particular flavor is no longer available. I decided to purchase it from Everything Beverage via Amazon instead. When I purchase syrup from Sodastream, it generally has an expiration date of over a year down the road and always tastes fresh. For the price that I had to pay for this product and the shipping, I would expect to receive a product that is fresh and has at least a few months shelf life. I will not be purchasing this item from this seller again.

I love this product. I use it with my Soda Stream. Yes, this product is less concentrated than the Soda Stream product, so fill your bottle up to the normal line, then add this syrup almost up to the top. That said, of course this tastes like "Diet Coke" and not 'diet cola'. I don't even like the taste of Pepsi, so its only real diet coke for me. Someone also mentioned the cost, which isn't concerning to me. I realize how much time and trash i save making my own soda. Throwing away 2 liter bottles and 12oz cans (even to recycle) seems so wasteful. This box lasted me a couple years and zero trash!!

We are using this with our Soda Stream carbonator.Results are terrific.

Expires in a couple weeks! Don't buy. There's no way to obtain a refund or exchange. Waste of money.

Great product and fast delivery. Very heavy. May have to order smaller size. Love making my own Diet Coke with soda stream. Happy with this vendor.

its the real deal and tastes great. only problem is i have the drink on demand and its hard regulating intake!

The diet coke syrup tasted expired even though it was only 2 weeks from expiration. I would have liked something a little fresher. But their manager called me directly to talk about it. I was very impressed with the support.
