Purchased this lamp to replace a burned out lamp in our Sharp projector. Worked fine to replace our old one.

The bulb that was sent didn't work!

Luckily we were under a deadline and im a smart enough guy that i took the housings apart and ...
We ordered these replacement bulbs and when they arrived they were clearly not put together correctly. The bulb was not sitting in the housing the right way on one of the bulbs and the other bulb was not sitting in the housing at all, the bulb was rolling around loose. Luckily we were under a deadline and im a smart enough guy that i took the housings apart and was able to assemble them correctly. Im not sure who is QCing these bulbs but they need to be drug tested. The bulbs did work well after the fix but still i dont expect to purchase something and immediatly have to fix it due to poor assemble from the manufacturer.
