Shoreline Marine Double Braided Nylon Dock Line

I bought these at the same time I bought some blue lines from the same seller, all the while thinking that they'd have to be pretty low-quality at this price, but I am very pleasantly surprised! Very well-made, a pleasure to handle, and very functional. Sometimes if you buy something and it actually looks really good, it doesn't function really good, but no problem here! These were almost too pretty to use on my ugly boat! If you go price these at a lot of marine stores, and other boat equipment suppliers, you are going to pay more! A great value! One of the best online purchases I've made!!!! Strong and well-made!!!

I bought these lines to add to a boat I recently bought. One of the reviews that I read indicated that the ends were not braided at the end to prevent unraveling. I purchased anyway. To my pleasant surprise the ends were beautifully finished and after a month of use they are a solid as new. I'm shocked these ropes are sold for this price. They have an excellent feel in the hand, the dock end loop is well manufactured. The rope is supple, holds knots excellently and appears durable in the month or so of my use. Highly recommended.

All I have to say is WOW! I've always used typical store bought nylon rope to use as dock lines. I've never been one to buy into the whole 'dockline' label on packages since to me rope is rope but this has proved me wrong. This rope is very high quality, has great weight to it for throwing to someone standing on the dock, VERY nimble in the way it doesn't take form to anything and the premade loop is very very handy. If your like me and typically make your own dock lines or you are just looking to order a good dock line by all means order some of these! You will not be let down. Shoreline products have been impressing me both for the price and the quality. It is quickly becoming a name I trust. Thank you shoreline for being affordable yet not jeopardizing the quality of your products!

I have used Shoreline ropes for all my boats. They held with no problems, through storms and all other wether conditions. My boat is a 28' and is kept in a slip. I am only buying more, because I have had the same ropes not for three summers, and I want to change my primary dock lines preventatively as the Sun can cause any rope to degrade. However I will continue to use the old ropes for extra dock lines, as they still seem to be in great condition.

Looks like good quality stuff. One end has a nice eye braided into it and the other end is heat sealed and whipped. Would have given it 5 stars but it comes in that plastic packaging that rips you to shreds if you are not careful.

The braided dock line is very high quality, as well as soft to the touch. The line replaces some old polypropylene line that came with the boat. The first time I tried to tie off to a dock, I received many splinters in my palms. I bought 2 sets of the Shorline Marine Double braided Nylon Dock Line and I could not be happier. I have since bought more to replace any lines on my boat and also to have an extra for an emergency

Great dock lines. I have the 25 foot 1/2 inch tan/white ones. They are well made; have a quality splice; and the raw end is well bound. They are smooth and don't snag easily on my spintery dock. I only wish I could have found these in 5/8 or 3/4"

This dock rope is excellent. Perfect for my 23ft tree trimmer, makes it much easier to snaps branches. Probably didn't need the 1/2" for this purpose, and could have gone down a thickness. It is stored outside and exposed to weather, so the marine component seems to be making it very durable. Being marine, it comes with a loop at one end to attach to a pier. While I don't need the loop, it is cute.

I liked how flexible it was but it has frayed easily because of this. I bought 4 and one is wearing already after2 weeks

Would recommend to anyone looking for a good quality dock line. Easy to keep neat. Have lasted a few seasons now with no signs of wear. I have bought these lines for a few years now for my 30 foot boat and my dinghy as well as I use for a spring line, bought as gifts etc.
