Damn Good But...
These are stupid-easy to assemble and install, assuming you are putting them on the end of a 4"x4" post. They are pretty bright, brighter than I expected. And they last most of the night (about 9-10 hours). impressive.but remember, they are PLASTIC, not copper. AND they can appear GOLD, not copper colored.other than those nits, not a bad product.scott

Color is not white and it only gets worse over time.
I normally don't write reviews but I had to on this one. The lights were not a complete white when I purchased them but I put them on thinking it wasn't that bad. Well through the 1 year that I had them they would blow away with the wind if it was bad, water collects inside of them and lastly the color just got worse. If you don't mind spending money then they would be great to buy and keep replacing ever year but for me I am upset as I had to buy more lights and now had to spend extra money for something that didn't even make it a full year. Don't waste your money on these if you are smart.

Not very bright, but do add a touch class.
1 out of 12 didn't work. The base and the tops aren't a snug fit, so in a strong (30mph) wind they blow off.

Great little lights
We bought 3 dozen a year ago for our privacy fence post. Love em. Over a year installed now and some burned dim or stopped coming on. Typically what stopped them from coming on was the on-off switch connection. I simply soldered two terminals together bypassing the switch to a constant on condition. This works fine sine the photo sensors turn them off during the day. I then used sandpaper to rough up the battery connections. The solar window became clouded, so a little bit of lacquer thinner cleaned them right up. After cleaning the solar window, I applied some wax to help protect them. Original batteries have held up well, I’ve only replace two. Great little light, with a little work you can keep them running for a long time. I also makes an X scribe bedside the battery cover to remind me I had shorted the battery switch if I ever have to work on them again.

Nice looking but VERY low quality solar cell
DO NOT BUY - TOTAL CHEAP JUNK! See photo attached.I purchased the 12 pack of silver and for less than $8 each it's hard to complain because they are nice looking but the functionality of these, after two years, is questionable - description says they are "ultra bright" whatever that means, it's definitely not very bright. The don't illuminate anything so basically they are for ambiance. The second issue is that the top unit that barely snaps into the base that goes on post is loose and won't stay put if you bump it, it will come loose and fall off - seems they could have at least made it a snug fit. And because they don’t overlap the base the base fills up with rain water which has no way to drain. I had to drill holes in them to keep the reflector clean.UPDATED AFTER TWO YEARS USAGE:Solar cells deteriorate after about 18-24 mos - they glaze over with a white frosting that hinders the charging of the battery. When you clean it off, it just comes right back. When this happened initially the seller did replace them even though the warranty had just expired. However when the replacements he sent did exactly the same thing again they refused to replace them a second time. They are cheap but nice looking post lights however looks aren’t functionality. The frosting of the solar cell is really inexcusable because I have purchased solar walk lights at a big box store and the solar cells held up for many years and never frosted over and those were half the price. Current listing as did the one I purchased off of implied the solar cells are upgraded. The included batteries are junk. Had to replace those after the first year. If I could rate them zero stars I would..

Watch for high winds
I like my lights. They line the new deck around the house. They look beautiful at night. During the day they look like a simple cap on top of the poles. However,If you live in a high wind area you will have to use some silicone glue to hold the tops down. We live on the water so we will get high winds during a storm. We glued them in place after a storm took the tops off.
