High Power 14.5V USB Mobley Adapter by Vegajf Compatible with AT&T Mobley OBD Hotspot

This adapter works in the sense that if you plug it in your hotspot will turn on. To get your hotspot to stay on for longer than 2 hours you must shake it when it first powers on. No big deal however the hot spot does not work indefinitely after that. Sometimes it will power off and other times it will send out a wifi signal but no internet. The quality of my internet on this adapter is also slower and spottier than with my old adapter that only worked for 2 hours after the firmware update.I am not sure yet what the solution to the firmware update is but this adapter is not it.

It was working really well for a couple weeks. Then I thought I was just in a dead zone but realized by switching back to my old cord that it was the new cord. After a week I tried switching back. It worked for about 8 hours and then went out and wouldn’t reconnect as it did before. Anyone have this experience? Any ideas of what I can do differently?

This power cord does what is supposed to do. It tricks the Mobley into believing it is in a vehicle so that it doesnt limit its on time.

This is perfect! With the extra voltage, the mobley now stays on continuously! LOVE THIS!

Been using the charger for about 2 weeks now. My Mobley still shuts off every other day. Guess that's better than evyer two hours. Also, the USB end already split.

Hello, I bought a USB Mobley adapter from you. Unfortunately, the OBD adapter continues to turn off after about 4 minutes. I have no access to the adapter via the IP address. The adapter is from Deutsche Telekom; it's called car connect. I hope you can help me.Thank you and best regards from Germany.

I had been using this adapter for about 9 months when it suddenly started to melt and burn. I smelled it from another room and luckily was able to unplug quickly and toss it outside.
