These are the pads your car wants because they are so gentle on the streets
You've got the right parts! These are the front brake pads for your Lancer Evolution X's stock Brembo brakes. I have been using them for daily driving and all I can say is I love them. Coming from the OEM pads, the StopTech 309 pads have less initial bite and higher ', which makes daily driving civilized. The StopTech 309's modulation inspires much confidence at hard corners, unlike the Brembo "on/off only" brake pads that scare you. These StopTech 309 pads also have less brake dust than Brembo's semi-metallic pads and will be washed off at the car wash. On top of that, they barely make any noise and are pleasant to have overall. Of course, these pads are for street only and no wise man should take them to a race track, an autocross course, or the touge. That will be pushing them close to their limit, even exceed the limit if your car is heavy, has high horsepower, has average brake cooling, or the track is intense on brakes. Remember, they should never operate over 1300°F (700°C).

Best bang for the Buck $$$
Arrived as expected. Brakes where easy install in my 04 STi with no problems once so ever. First thought of the breaking was ok, was expecting more bight. But after a mikes 25+ miles of driving city roads the bight became better and the harder you press the harder they bite. great pads best bang for the buck. Only paid $67 for these hawks pads are $100 so I saved some $$$ on this. I'm yet to upgrade to steal braided lines and better brake fluid for the best breaking power. Most definitely recommend these for street use.

Great for Evo X daily driver
I replaced the oem pads that came with my Evo X with these from Stoptech (front and rear). In daily driving, these are excellent - no squeels, low dust, and most importantly - the pads perform well during braking. However, compared to the oem pads that came with my Evo X, these do not have the same stopping power and don't feel quite as good. The original oem pads were great because of their initial bite and they never faded. Still, in daily driving conditions, these are more than adequate. The initial bite is good, and in normal conditions, I never detected any fade. (The only times I've detected fade was when it was raining, and I was coming to a stop very suddenly on the freeway - they started fading a tiny bit but not much.) Best of all, they don't squeel so badly like the oem pads did at low speeds. In fact, these brakes are pretty much quiet at all speeds - at least in my car. So if you're looking for brakes that are inexpensive, low dust, quiet, and have good stopping power - try these out.

Excellent pads
I had EBC Redstuff before and these perform better for half the price.Compared with Redstuff they produce more dust ,but it's acceptable, your wheels will still be clean . Braking power-excellent with no signs of fade at high speeds Dust Level-low to moderate Durability-N/A as I have them for just a week...will update later. Installed on a 2010 Camaro SS

NEVER AGAIN!
Bought these after StopTech pads came highly recommended by numerous sources as a more budget-friendly alternative to buying Hyundai-branded Brembo pads. Pads worked great for about 2,000 miles before they began squeaking. It was mild at first but now the pads have about 15,000 miles on them and the squealing when I come to a stop is DEAFENING. I've had the pads and rotors inspected three times and every single mechanic can't tell me what's wrong with them. Doesn't matter if conditions are wet or dry, day or night, summer or winter, hot or cold, the pads are cringeworthy loud when I come to even just a normal stop. If the pads gave me spectacular stopping power then I'd say maybe they'd be worth the trade off but the difference is marginal between these and any other type of pad (in fact, I think I liked the factory Brembo pads a little more). I will absolutely never be purchasing these pads ever again, and I'd strongly advise any Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track edition owners with the upgraded Brembo brakes avoid a lot of embarrassment and hassle and do the same.

Great alternative to OEM Bremo brake pads!
I used these as replacements for my Subaru STI. The OEM Brembo pads are overpriced so I decided to give StopTech a try. I have purchased a couple brake components from them so I know they are a reputable company. I can honestly say that they have the same bite as the Brembos. I have not raced with them so I am not sure of the heat fade resistance. I have raced with my old set of Brembos and I wasn't really a fan of how fast they heat faded. After one autocross run they (Brembo) started smoking. These are a great alternative to the OEM pads!

Excellent street pad for the $!
Excellent street pad! Low dust, no noise and just as good, if not better than most of the so called "aggressive, light auto cross/track" pads for driving day to day on public roads.

I use these as my daily and perform great under aggressive driving or for the occasional track days
I use these as my daily and perform great under aggressive driving or for the occasional track days. If planning more than the 3-4 times a year track day, I suggest a more aggressive brake pad such as the Hawk HP+ or similar. Other than that, great for daily driving but it does have a good amount of brake dust.

These brake pads offer the best value for dual-use applications (Street and Track). Like any performance pad, they do generate a noticeable amount of dust and produce some noise when cold. However, once they reach operating temperature, the bite and modulation are outstanding. Rotor life is also impressive. I've used them for a full season, which included plenty of daily driving, three track days, and a road trip from Toronto to Tennessee with lots of spirited driving. Throughout all of this, they delivered zero issues and phenomenal performance. They are the best value for a dual-use vehicle if you prefer not to frequently switch out pads. I used them on a Subaru BRZ equipped with Brembo calipers, stainless steel brake lines, and high-carbon rotors.

Works like it should. Great stopping power.

I've daily driven with these pads on a 2012 WRX STi now through a full summer/winter cycle. After reading so many good reviews I had to try them out and they're even better than expected. Having past experience with Ferodo DS2500 and Hawk HT-10 track pads on the Nordschleife, I was skeptical that any brake pad could do everything people claim. I was worried their downside might be cold weather performance in Canada, as I like to drive spirited with traction control off in the snow and I didn't find they locked up too fast or anything. I like to make my STi BBS rims look new when I change them every spring/summer and I haven't noticed excessive dust from these pads or had any issue cleaning. I have never heard a peep from them unlike other performace pads I've used (make sure to install them properly with the shims and some grease) If you want a brake pad for sporty driving everyday on the street, this is it. And the price is great too! Next I will try the Centric High Carbon blank rotors, which are the same as StopTech Sports without the stylish slots or holes.

DO NOT PURCHASE. These will destroy your expensive rims. Only after one day of driving not even spirited driving these pads create more dust than a construction site. Honestly I rarely, I mean “rarely” give a negative review but these are trash. They also squeal like a pigs going to the slaughter house. In all honesty the people saying they don’t squeal and do not create dust, they are not being truthful. The evidence are in my pics. This is an “ “100” percent honest reviews, NO GIMMICKS…
