Can go a little higher than 10lb dumbells. Yes, it came fully assembled
I wanted a completely assembled dumbell rack. Just was feeling lazy about putting another item together. I already have a heavy duty Gold's Gym rack from Walmart that holds up to 45lb dumbells. I needed something light duty for my smaller weights. While it isn't super sturdy being light plastic, it does securely hold 1 15, 1 12, 2 10s, and 2 5s. So less clutter on the floor. You definately cannot pick it up when it holds that much, I started to and could tell it would break. But holding them, absolutely fine. And as promised, it came 100% completely assembled.

Useless product
Unfortunately this item is not good. It doesn’t work if you actually use your weights. If you have them put away for display this is fine. But, if you intend to use your weights. Don’t buy this. First, the slots are too close together so if you want to pull out one of the middle ones.... you can’t! You have to take out all the weights on top to get to the ones below. Second, it’s so light that it easily tips over even if you don’t touch it. Any little movement will make it too right over. Finally, the slots themselves are so tight. I have the type of weights that are in the actual product pictures so I thought I was set... however, the weights barely fit in it was definitely a tight fit. Not convenient for trying to keep your weights organized while working out! Poorly made, useless product.

Loose weights now organized
Perfect height and width to store free weights in a small closet when not in use. Its handle makes it easy to carry to where I need them. Sturdy structure.

It holds the weights!
All stands I had looked at were very expensive and I just wanted the simplest possible stand to hold the weights. This one of course is not expensive and the material is plastic. It holds the weights in place, especially in a sturdy surface, but it is not heavy so do not expect it to be the best possible stand ever. If you don't mind that it is a little unsteady (if for instance you tap it and don't want it to move a bit), then this does the job. For me, this works, but yes, it is very light and can sway as you are moving it to the place where it will remain. I would certainly not add any higher weights than the 10lbs as it recommends,

Not very sturdy with heavier weights
I had to add a hardwood board under to make the rack more stable. Can't use the top tier because it would fall over. Spend a little more and get one more sturdy if you plan to put heavier (above 5lbs) on the rack. I have 2, 3, 5 and 8.

Well suited for a few light weights for rehabbing after surgery/injury
I had a shoulder replacement and need to keep it flexible and also to slowly continue strengthening the arm. Many exercises call for 2 pound weighs with the heaviest 10 pounds so this is light duty and perfect for this. It also keeps the weights organized and off the floor. This unit is not for people doing serious weight training as it cannot hold anything too heavy.

Very unstable, too small for some weights, rough edges that scuff your hands.
I would not recommend this rack. It becomes very unstable if you don't have weights at the bottom. Some of the weights are very tight to get in and out because the slots are too small. And because it's made of plastic the edges are hard and I'm always scuffing up my hand when remove or return the weights.

I like it- It fits my 10lb weights with room to spare!
Read some other reviews that said the bottom (biggest) holder was too small in diameter for their 10lb weights. I just stacked pairs of 2, 3, 5, 8, and 10lb neoprene dumbbells in this thing and they all fit fine with a little room to spare between each. I might even be able to fit a 12 lb instead of the 10. I love that this rack is very compact vs other options, yet it still makes my weights seem so much more organized than just laying on a floor or shelf. No issues with the plastic construction so far, but will update this review if it turns out to be too flimsy.
