iPad Air Screen Protector, Spigen iPad Air Screen Protector Anti Glare Steinheil [Ultra Optics] Clear and Anti Glare Screen Protector for iPad Air - Ultra Optics (SGP10629)

I have the Spigen Anti-glare matte protector for my iPad mini and iPhone 5 and both have slight rainbowing effect but both work and feel well. With this Ultra Optics the clarity has improved dramatically, and the product applies easily if you understand the process and have a clean environment (no flying dust). You have to work quickly and precisely and if applied as directed it will be bubble free (see their install video on their site spigen.com under the iPad mini screen protectors).All that said, this screen protector does not have a super smooth finish. On some microlevel, there are ridges and as your finger moves across them it creates a little noise (sort of like running your finger on a comb). The up and down motion is not as severe as as the side-to-side motion. It actually makes it harder to move across the surface. If you are planning to draw, use a stylus, or anything that requires precision, this product will not work for you. Avoid unless you are a casual user or a kid.

First order came bended in a flimsy envelop. Thanks to Amazon service, I returned it easily and order a new one.The product itself is great. I have been using SGP product for several years. It's one of the highest quality film protector in the market, although it's not very cheap. Consider these before you buy:- This film will slightly reduce the sharpness of the retina display- At the same time, it helps reduce glare slightly- I bought it mainly because I hate fingerprint, and this film helps prevent that issue a little while not reduce the clarity too much- good scratch resistance- Can get dirty (tint) by grease and dirt, and can't be removed or cleaned- good customer service- very difficult to apply to get a perfect result. Seriously, if you don't have a good craftsmanship, find someone else better to do it for you.

This is a good screen protector for the iPad Air. It does reduce glare making it easier to see the screen in bright rooms or outside. It was fairly easy to install. Patience is required when applying any screen protector, but I was able to get all the bubbles out. The dust removal stickers are very helpful!The biggest draw back is the screen protector creates a noise when you move your finger across it. It sounds like a zipper. It's annoying and noticeable to others in the room. However since the screen protector is solid and sturdy, it will protect my screen which is my main concern.

The clarity of the protector is excellent. It fits perfectly. When properly installed it is difficult to see it on the Air. Spigen provide a cleaning cloth and guides to assist with installation; however, it is very difficult to install without trapping dust under the cover & creating bubbles. I have used Spigen's product on my iPhone and it is MUCH easier to successfully install on the smaller surface. The larger ipad Air creates more 'opportunity' for static electricity and dust on the screen's sticky side during the install.

Not user friendly to install. Bought this because I had good experience with their iPhone screen saver. This one was a pain to install, lots of bubbles that wouldn't rub out.

Great screen Protector! I had no trouble putting it on and it fit perfectly. A little pricey , but I tried the cheap ones and wasn't too happy with them. This does what it says .It's so clear you can't tell it is even on there.

I just got this for my iPad Air. Application can be difficult, for it took me several attempts to put it on. The adhesive side collects dust easily every time you remove it, which is can be a reason to why are many air bubbles (this doesn't come with a squeegee either). It is clear for the most part and it is true that fingerprints are reduced, but every time you swipe on the screen, it does squeak and it is a bit annoying...

Came a little dented in the pack , but Amazon was simply great to have it shipped back and refund me for the same. But something noteworthy guys, I would recommend a professional installation, as this screen is a dust magnet, my friend did his ipad in front of me and even though he cleaned up dust particles, it attracts the dust from the air in a room. So, I would recommend professional installation, but kudos to amazon for their service :)

This was my 14th SGP product!For my communication devices I only use SGP products, but the manufacture quality is decreasing, last time the screen protector had a small defect that with time (2 weeks) vanish but now there was a BIG defect in the middle of the screen protector and I will have to buy another! Since it is applied to the screen and I can't complain!But if this happen again, I will buy from another brand and then I will know that they may have quality issues but at least I will not have any surprises!Before there was on the package a cleaner spray, that was great, the "Squeegee" rubber to help with some bubble's, the dust removal sticker and the cloth. Now is like the other brands, only the cloth and a little difference... the dust removal sticker, but the price is still premium!And YES, "this screen protector is very noisy when you swipe over its surface with your finger"!

This is an excellent product. It has a matte surface but unlike the cheap matte protectors this one is crystal clear and not affecting the image quality. It goes on very easily with no air bubbles and it certainly is anti-glare and finger print proof. It's the next best protector aside the tempered glass one.

Perfectly covers the screen and looks good. I applied it on for my sister's ipad and she loves it

This is my second SPG product (the first one being a screen protector for iPhone) but while I loved the other, I am strongly disliking this one.The main issue is easy: this screen protector is very noisy when you swipe over its surface with your finger. While I'm not doubting its protective qualities, the noise takes all the fun out of your iPad. A waste of money.

Seltsam: Die Oberfläche ist nicht 100% glatt, sondern hat eine feine Struktur. Wenn man mit dem Finger darüberfährt, gibt es ein helles Geräusch. Schlimm: Hält dem Kontakt mit LogiTech-Tastaturhülle nicht stand. Nach ein paar Wochen gab es die ersten blinden Flecken. Jetzt suche ich nur noch nach einem Ersatz. Würde ich nicht mehr kaufen.
