Konami's MSX Legacy: the unofficial story Hardcover – 1 Nov. 2018

It is a monumental well produced piece of work. More could have been done. It reproduces Japanese adverts but not the rare European adverts. It could have mentioned the coverage the games received in the press like reviews and maybe some of the conversions to other contemporary platforms. This would have balanced the book increasing the amount written for the earlier MSX 1 games. Makes some of the later Japanese games playable with walk through s and maps

This book isn't just great as a source of detailed information about releases of games, it's also full of maps and random trivia about some of the best 8-bit games. It's practically a must-have for any serious MSX fan.

This book is all about Konami games and apps for MSX! Nice cover and a lot of contents.

the paper is of very poor quality.It would have been necessary to have glossy paper to appreciate the photos. what a shame

This book covers seemingly every Konami MSX game ever made in beautiful detail; almost every single entry feels like a feature from the golden era of Nintendo Power, and includes details such as the release date, a synopsis of the story and characters, level maps, guides on how to play and strategies, enemy description, etc.I expected it to be big, I did not expect it to be such high quality throughout. I wouldn't be surprised if the author had spent years making this, it's a huge accomplishment and is worth every penny.

Para todos aquellos que en los años 80 nos destrozábamos los dedos aporreando las teclas de nuestro MSX o destrozando nuestros Joysticks con juegos como Hyper Sports I y II , Yie Ar Kung-Fu, etc... este libro es imprescindible. Como he dicho en el enunciado es nuestra Biblia, y todos aquellos que tuvieron un MSX en los años ochenta saben que cuando llegaba a nuestras manos un juego que era de Konami aquello era garantía que ibas a tener un juego de una altísima calidad, que le daba mil patatas a los juegos de Commodore, Amstrad y no te digo nada de Spectrum. El libro es completísimo y con fotos fantásticas, por pedir y si lo lee el editor o el propio autor, recomendaría que el libro fuera de mayor tamaño y menor grosor. El grosor es lo que veo peor, lo hace muy incomodo a la hora de manejarlo y también veo que el libro sufre más a la hora de abrirlo y manejarlo. Y ya por pedir si sacaran alguna edición en Español sería fantástico aunque agradezco al menos que esté en inglés y no en Japonés. El precio también lo veo excesivo pero sabiendo que este libro va destinado a incondicionales del MSX como yo lo pagaremos resignadamente. Tan incondicional soy de Konami y MSX que creo que compraré un segundo libro para guardarlo en la caja fuerte de mi casa y tenerlo como el santo grial.

Un gran bel libro per noi nostalgici degli anni 80. A quei tempi il commodore 64 la faceva da padrone ma l'MSX ha fatto la sua bella figura con macchine sempre più evolute ma poco sfruttate e pubblicizzate.

This book provides a full overview of all MSX games that were published by Konami. It is accompanied by descriptions, tips & tricks, a lot of screenshots, etc. And it's big! A fantastic overview to preserve the MSX legacy.

Livre très riche en informations.Pleins de photos, d'astuces et d'inedits.Je conseil vivement pour tous les fans du Msx et de konami.Il n'existe pas d'équivalent.
