TRIUMPH NT-9 9000Lbs Two Post Floor Plate Auto Lift

I gave it 4 stars because there is no information on how to put it in or wire it up. In saying that, I love it. I have saved so much money by use it. I put it in myself, wasn't hard once I figured it out but I did call on a friend to wire it up. Very heavy made and high quality hoses. I have had it for two years with no problems and i use it once a week or more.

So I researched a ton of lifts. The prices range from 10k to 1k. Hard to really see the difference on the lower end units. So i went to Amazon. The lift works fine. It gets 3 stars because the instructions could be so much better. Like anyone buying a lift, you probably have some mechanical experience. No way I could have put this together without knowing what I know. I could write an install manual better than anything I downloaded, or got. The video is helpful, but doesn't really prepare you for what you will have to do.The lift came in shipped ok enough. However, the way the hydraulic rams sit inside the columns, is flawed. So, they had moved during shipping. Had to figure out a way to lift the rams, inside the housings and get the bases back on the right spot inside the main frames. A simple strap on the bottom of the ram would have solved this problem. Overall, the supplier and Amazon are still so easy to deal with, that is why you won't go wrong buying this lift, if you want a simple 2 post lift for a garage. Small details and this would get 4 stars. Never going to get 5. The quality in the welding and such make for a good lift. Even leveling it up was difficult. Went to a 8' level and the posts were not exactly straight. So we had to average out the error in the main posts to find a happy medium. Hope this helps someone. I would buy again, but only because I now know how to install this lift (by just figuring it out myself).

I bought this lift for my shop. I am in the middle of a frame-off restoration of a 1969 100 Ford Custom truck and besides that I have have to service several vehicles with all the drivers I have in my house. Lift works like a champ.Took me and a buddy 3 hours to install, like stated, there are no instructions, but YouTube helped. You will need a 3/4" concrete bit, which I didn't have...about $30 for a good one. Housing takes 3.5gal of 10weight hydrolic fluid. Very little adjustments needed, but I take it that will depend on how well your lift is cared for during shipping.I did notice that several reviews on the web mentioned this price range of lift is often marketed to handle more weight than they are intended for. So a 9k lift may only be able to handle 8k or something. The largest vehicle I have is a 6400 lb ram and the lift handles it fine. You just may want to note this when deciding on a lift capacity for your application.Overall great product.

Everything was there, Delivery was fast, and it’s a solid lift so far. There were no instructions included but common sense and a rental hammer drill from the hardware store is all you need. My brother and I put this up by hand with no help. It took no time and is solid as a rock. It comes with the anchoring bolts, they all worked perfectly and torqued to specified range. Great value and I feel safe under it. Rent a hammer drill and the 3/4 bit only costs $2 to borrow. $45 and a little bit of lifting we had this baby ready to go in a day! Just be prepared for a ton of concrete dust, I’d buy some masks.

The only negatives I have was the motor was actually mounted on the side, making the lift even wider. In the picture it had the motor mounted on the front side of the post. And the instructions supplied online are not very good. Other than that I’d say it’s a great lift for the money. So far I have lifted pretty much every kind of car from a low corvette to a 2006 dodge 2500 cummins. The 2500 cummins kind of scared me a little. I just lifted it about 2 feet to rotate tires but it held up good even with that heavy truck. The main reason I gave it 5 stars is because of how great the customer service was. I had a few questions and the customer service lady was very friendly and had extremely fast response time on all of my questions. So far I am happy with it and would definitely recommend it for the price.

Had it for about 2 months or so and I was going to wait a year to review it but honestly this is a great lift, there is a 1 year warranty and they stand by it, have had no issues installing and came with all the hardware, lifts both of my camaro my impala and Jetta no issue now my f350 only weighs 6700 and was unable to lift correctly but will lift just the cab alone fine with no issues, I had an issue where the locking pin snapped on one of the arms, to keep it from swaying back and forth and the sent me another within the week with paint and plenty of decals, and told me how to adjust my lift so it can lift my whole 350 because the opposite side of the motor was slacking WOULD RECOMMEND

Was easy to install. Delivered without manual, they email it to you upon request. Manual is not accurate and not as useful as YouTube!Very frustrated with delivery: pillars are all scratched up, one of the high pressure fitting was broken in shipping. Service department was very responsive.Would not recommend for professional use.

No manual; or manual is ambiguous or just wrong in places. Left over parts. Several scratches when arrived. But none of that is a big deal. If you are buying a lift, you know enough of what you are doing to get this thing in and running safely. Also, I must say that when I called the seller for some advice, he was right there to help. And this thing is awesome. Amazing price. It arrived very quickly; I drove the forklift out to the street; picked it off the truck; got a buddy to help me unpackage and tip up the columns; did the install. It's solid; works great, and looks good.
