Like other reviews the box arrived very beaten up
Just opened this after receiving from the seller in the UK to check out prior to Christmas. Like other reviews the box arrived very beaten up, but I didn't purchase it for the box. The toy was in great shape and appeared new. There were no scrapes or dings on the toy at all. This is very detailed for the price. The tires are real rubber like material, there are many little doors and windows that open, the engine hood opens, there is a rack in the back for a motorcycle (not included) with a trailer hitch that pops up, the toilet seat raises up, chairs swivel, cute little picnic table and folding chairs; and I'm quite sure there is quite a bit more I just didn't have anymore time to look. I would recommend this for an older child, it is very detailed and I'm afraid it's not going to last through my four year olds play very long.

Not worth the money
Bought this to give to my grandson for Christmas, so he hasn't played with it yet, but I don't expect he'll be playing with it for very long. It is very cheaply made. The plastic seems brittle. What's more, the packaging, both the shipping box and the product box were battered. I expected to find the toy broken, but, thankfully, it was still intact and all the parts were present. It's definitely not worth the price.

A really great toy
Took a while to get here as it was shipped from Greece and the first shipment was lost. They were right on with communications about this package. Our grandson finally got his Christmas gift and LOVES it. The color is brilliant and the moveable features all work great. Thank you

Great fun but made of worryingly fragile plastic
This toy is said to be suitable for kids three years and up.My heart sank when we opened the packet: I realized it is made of that thin, fragile type of plastic that, as prior experience has taught me, a lot of plastic 'car transporter' type toys are made of - the stuff that gives a little bit before it breaks and snaps. Pretty worrying, given that this camper van is chock-full of little lift-up doors and panels and tiny plastic catches an entire slide-off roof that are all just waiting to break off, and snap.On the plus side it's very nice to look at and seems well designed as regards its contents and appearance, e.g. in the interior, which has enough space to accommodate additional small plastic toys to 'ride' in it too, and regrding the nice packaway accessories it comes with, that fit into a small storage hold that's built into the structure of the van - garden chairs and a table and awning. Also the Spongebob and Patrick figures are quite nice - although some of the decorative stickers on the outside of the van don't seem brilliantly stuck-on. There are tons of nice details inside - it's got a shower and built-in banquettes and kitchenette, just like a real 1970s camper van - bit difficult to get at if you don't have tiny fingers admittedly - and the wheels make a very satisfying 'whirring mechanical wheel' sound when the toy is run along the ground so it's a fun toy for kids."Strong, sturdy, quality" it says on the product blurb for this toy but I'm not so sure. While the wheels and the van chassis itself seem fairly robust to having, say, a four year old leaning much of his body-weight on them as he trundles the van back and forth repeatedly across the floor, the doors / catches and sliding roof seem definite weak points to me and seem all too likely to break off. The van could probably still be played with if they do, but it won't look nearly so good. For an RRP of £30, given that I have concerns about how long this toy's going to last, I find the price quite expensive, hence the three star rating. You should probably note that I bought this from Amazon by mistake, having intended to buy something from the 'Imaginex' Spongebob range, that had been recommended to me. I wasn't too worried about my error as thought this Simba one looks great and it does - but I'm not wildly impressed by how insubstantial some of the minor components appear to be.My son, however, loves it.

Nice toy for my 5 year old Spongebob watcher
My five year old got this for his birthday as he loves playing with cars and figures at the moment, he also likes spongebob a lot right now so it ticked the right boxes. The camper is quite a decent size, it comes with two figures, a couple of chairs and a table plus figures of spongebob and patrick. The roof slides off so you can play in the rooms inside the camper. The only problem I had was that the push along mechanism seems to have gone a bit awry after a few weeks, now it makes a sound like grinding metal when it moves. It still moves though and nothing seems wrong looking at it, it's just really loud now.Anyway, the boy really likes it so I'm giving it a positive review, I chipped one star off for the broken mechanism as I don't think it should have broken after a short space of time. One little tip, keep the box, makes a great 'garage' for it and means it is always put away, nice bonus for us, one less thing to trip over.

I guess Amazon people are in summer mood and relying on the fact that some people cannot send it back so easily..
I bought this for my friend's son to Czech Rep and got dissapointed as the Camper door can not be closed properly, there was missing ladder and in the box no invoice, no manual... I guess Amazon people are in summer mood and relying on the fact that some people cannot send it back so easily...
