BEWARE! Cup gets unsightly sharp cracks!!!
I thought this cup is absolutely adorable. We got it for our 3yr old daughter who was so excited when we got it.I opened the box, rinsed it and poured her juice in it.By the time I put the lid on it and and started walking to the table it was leaking all down the side of my arm and onto our floor and carpet. At first I thought I had not closed it improperly or maybe overfilled it but when I ran back to the sink and inspected it; I realized it was cracked down the side. After pouring the drink out I noticed the inside of the cup was cracking as well.😢So sad because my daughter thought it was sooo cute and was really excited for her new "owl milk cup" - What we originally bought it for.I really liked the idea that it's super easy to clean, cute so we thought it would encourage her to drink her milk and it's small enough so not too much milk goes to waste; since she isn't too fond of milk anyway but we never even got the chance to use it. 😢Not sure if this happens to many of them or if we got a defective one period but it would be a good idea if you decide to order this cup after all; you check it throughly before filling or even handing to your child.I'm hoping we got a defective one and not that this happens regularly considering running my finger through the side crack feels a bit sharp! I wouldn't want my child drinking little cracked off pieces of this sharp glass like plastic because it cracks on its own out of the blue.Guess we'll keep looking for a really cute, small and easy to clean, carry and drink out of cup with an easy pour out lid but sadly this isn't it for us. 😔

It's good if you're at the table and you are all ...
Cute cup. Beverage comes out quicker than other sippy cups so you still have to help them but I imagine as the baby gets older, they will learn how to control. My niece is 8 months old and we still have to help her. It's a very basic sippy. It is not spill proof and will leak if you travel with it. It's good if you're at the table and you are all eating dinner together. :-). You put it in your baby tote? Not so much. However, I gave it 4 stars because plastic is sturdy, design is very cute and of quality. I think the sippy cup with the straw was probably a better idea but this will do for now.

Adorable design with minimal spill protection
I wanted a sippy cup that my daughter could learn to drink from like a normal cup. We don't use the sippy portion of this cup because she quickly learned how to drink out of this. She can grab the handles and bring it to her mouth and take gulps of water. She's 9 months old so obviously needs a little bit of help bringing it back down without spilling since there's no lid on it.We have used it with the sippy top and it works just as well. We will usually do the top if we are in the car but other than that the quality is great, it is dishwasher safe and the designs are adorable! This definitely is not a sippy cup for those that don't want water coming out of it when it tips over. This is more of a sippy to teach kids how to drink water out of a cup.

Perfect first cup, if your little one doesn't have teeth
This cup is great for little ones just learning to drink because there isn't a valve on the inside of the sippy which allows for the water to flow when tipped. This feature is helpful for little ones who don't know how to such out of a cup yet. The downside to the sippy spout is that the plastic is soft enough that little teeth can make scratches in it with their teeth. I believe the materials are BPA free but I still didn't like to think my little guy was getting any of the scratched plastic pieces in his mouth. Functions well if highly supervised, i.e. mom holding the cup and not allowing little one to gnaw on it. Took away from some of the fun of letting my little one explore the cup since I have to have a hand on it always.

Love it.
My 5 month old was stealing small plastic cups from me and using them properly so I decided to give sippy cups a try. He was able to use it right away. I only help him sometimes with tipping it far enough back. I was worried that it would break based on other reviews. He has dropped it onto the metal bars at the base of his high chair and it did not break. But to err on the safe side, I bought the boogin' head sippigrip to keep it from hitting the tile floor. Seems to be a great combo so far. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be but that's probably a good thing because it is a great size. I also purchased the monsters design and a couple flip and sip containers which are also great.

Cute Cute Cute!
This is soooo cute that I couldn't resist. So I bought it when he was 6 months old.He dropped it from IKEA high chair countless times. It lasted about 5 months before it finally shattered. So I would say it is durable depending on what types of floor you have.or maybe I was just lucky that it lasted this long. Also, expect a mess. I use Kushies Waterproof Bib with Sleeves, White Circle, Toddler to keep the water or milk from dropping, but sometimes (or most of the time) it just overflows...but one day your baby will learn to drink better. Now he is 1 year old. He likes Sugarbooger Sippy Cups, Set of 2, BowMeow .Somehow he likes without handles and he can hold it better.

Seems to be a bit defective
The lid on every other one of these we ordered would have the "vent hole" not completely open. Almost like they tried to make it too small in manufacturing and it sealed back up. If I put my mouth to it and blew with all my might I couldn't get any air to pass through. This makes it considerably harder for our little guy to drink out of as there is nothing to equalize it and allow the fluid to flow. I solved this with heating up a larger diameter piece of metal (paperclip) and pushing it through. Problem solved but something that should be taken care of already. Had to have these as they were the only our son would drink from.
