Enjoyed fishing with these lures
Great kit allowed me to try a variety of lures. I fish from our dock -- along the rocks and out into the lake. I LOVE the Mepps Aglia and Black Fury as they had the most hits. I swear I hit the fish on the head the strikes were so instantaneous. Small mouth, large mouth, and white bass; and of course, northerns hit these lures. Not much luck with the other lures. Surprised by the range in the size of fish that bit -- teeny tiny small mouth to lunker bass and huge northerns! Wish these were a little less expensive as my sons do not appreciate wading in the water to retrieve my lures when they get hung up in the rocks. Will definitely buy black fury and aglia lures again.

Mepps spinners make it worth getting
I gave this kit 5 stars because two of the Mepps spinners (the black one and silver one) in this kit absolutely crushed the pike in Ontario when I was up there a few weeks ago (June 2015). Unfortunately, I lost both of them on extra large fish I didn't get into the boat :( I went onto Mepps website and replaced them - Amazon didn't have the colors I wanted except in this kit and didn't want to duplicate all the other lures in this kit since I already had them. I put every one of these lures in the water while up there, and caught pike on every one of the Mepps spinners…the other lures (the spoon like ones) didn't produce.
